An Adventurer's Life Is Best -- by Catherine Lamey

It's December 31, 1937, and the Adventurers Club, a gathering place for intrepid world travelers that has recently found itself reduced to its core membership (it seems 1937 has been a tough year for intrepid world travelers), is going all out for its annual open house and recruitment drive. All are invited to enter and partake of libations while meeting the Club members. The survival of the Club is at stake!

To the right of the entrance is the spot where dashing adventurer and aviator Hathaway Browne has cra...er, creatively landed his plane.

The Adventurers Creed marks the entrance, displayed for all prospective members to study.

Enter the Club on the mezzanine level. It is called the Zebra Mezzanine because ...well, presumably because of the zebra.

The Club members will remind you that absolutely nothing of interest happens on the Zebra Mezzanine, but it is furnished with plenty of rare (well, unique anyhow)
artifacts and many comfy chairs for sitting and relaxing.

Descend the stairs to the salon and the area where the action takes place.
