Who does your family consist of? My wonderful husband, Bud; a daughter, Debbie and her husband Tony; a son, Scott and his wife Melynda. I have 4 beautiful grand kids, AJ - 8; Daniel - 3; Isabella - 1; and Jayme - 18
months. Plus assorted dogs (3 Rotties) and 3 cats.
What is your occupation? I'm a stay-at-home MomMom and keep my daughter's 3 kids while she works full-time. Also watch Jayme as needed.
How did you find TheMouseForLess? Don't remember.
How long have you been a member of MFL? Years, believe it was 2002 or 2003.
If you have a MFL title, how did you get it? No title.
How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? Believe our 15th trip is coming up in August. Try to get to the Mouse House about twice a year if we can.
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Love them all but think Grumpy (matches my mood sometimes and is misunderstood) and Tink (love her energy) are my favorites. And of course love the big guy, Mickey.
What is your most embarrassing Disney Moment? Can't think of one off hand but I'm sure there is one being repressed somewhere.
Do you consider yourself to be a Disney expert or novice? Somewhere in the middle. I do a pretty good job of planning on my own but LOVE to read all the e-mails that show me just how little I know. Some day I hope to be an expert.
What is your best tip for saving money on a Disney Vacation? Plan, plan, plan and plan some more. Take bottled water into the parks with you and
share meals when you can. We usually only eat 2 meals a day while on vacation (which allows a Mickey ice cream bar in between meals).
What is your favorite attraction at a Disney park? Wishes and Fantasmic are a toss up as to our favorite. Favorite ride is Everest Expedition and TOT.
Besides Disney, what is your favorite pastime? My grand kids get all of my extra time and attention (and money).
If you were stranded on a desert island, what would be the one thing would want with you and why? Would have to be my hubby, don't think I could survive without him.
What is your favorite movie (Doesn't have to be Disney)? Don't have a favorite, spend lots of time watching Cars, Nemo, Baby Einstein and any
other Disney video that we have and we have lots.
What is your favorite food? Pizza, a Five Guys burger and fries, strawberry soup from 1900 Park Fare, a Mickey ice cream bar.
If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do? Pay off bills and book a long trip with all the grand kids to visit the Mouse House.
What is your favorite Holiday or time of year? I love Christmas but don't like cold weather.
What would people be surprised to know about you? Probably not much, just an ordinary Disney lover.
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? All you have to do is ask and someone has the answer for you. Such a warm, caring group of Disneyholics.
