How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? I've been about 20 times, and my Disney buddy is 6 and has been 4. My 18 year old niece had gone with me since she was 4, but the last few years, she's hasn't gone because of school and college prep. Both of them got hooked on Disney from the Kids Video, Disneyland Fun.
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Cinderella. In 2005, Kirsta wore a gorgeous Cinderella dress I made her(if I must say so, lol). The fairy godmother just gushed all over her. Prince Charming told her a secret about Cinderella that she would not share with us until we got home and she told MomMom. A week later we ate with the Princesses. Cinderella remembered her. She said to Kirsta, I remember you, you had dinner with me and you wore that beautiful dress your fairy godmother made for you. We could not believe she'd remember her!! We were so impressed. Of course Kirsta still talks about this dinner.
What is your most embarrassing Disney Moment? It isn't mine, but my sister came one year. She forgot her camera and took along one of the 1 time use cameras. We were having breakfast at Park Fare. Minnie got to our table and Wendi couldn't figure out how to work the camera. Minnie took it away from her and showed her how to work it.
Do you consider yourself to be a Disney expert or novice? Novice, always something new to learn.
What is your best tip for saving money on a Disney Vacation? Giving the kids Disney Dollars. It ends the wants when you ask if they have enough Disney Dollars.
What is your favorite attraction at a Disney park? Peter Pans flight.
Besides Disney, what is your favorite pastime? Harry Potter, sewing, reading, Right now I'm hooked on playing PS game, Disney's Kingdom Hearts.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what would be the one thing would want with you and why?
What is your favorite movie (Doesn't have to be Disney)? Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean.
What is your favorite food? BIG red flawless apples.
If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do? Take my entire family to Disney (I have 5 sisters, it would be a BIG crowd).
What is your favorite Holiday or time of year? I'd like to say Xmas, but I work in retail. I think January, it's Kirsta's birthday, and I plan a HUGE Disney related Birthday party for her.
What would people be surprised to know about you? My age. I haven't got a wrinkle. Thank the lord for good genes. Most people think I'm in my 30's (and I turn 50 this year).
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? The helpfulness.
