Who does your family consist of? Me (39), DH John (41), DD Melody (19), DD Sarah (15), DS Ben (8), Maddie (our yorkie-poo) and Princess (our white calico)
What is your occupation? Registered nurse and assistant director of an emergency department.
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Mickey! Because it all started with the mouse! He is what I believe Disney is!
How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? Too many to count! My first trip was when I was dating my DH when I was 19 in 1987! Then we moved from NY to Kissimmee 3 years ago. We now live in Celebration since August!
What is your favorite Disney Resort (or off site property) and why? The Polynesian! My husband and I had the most romantic anniversary trip there one year. We stayed in a lagoon view room and were able to see the castle and fireworks. There is nothing like going to bed and getting up to the castle!
What is your favorite Disney restaurant, in or out of the parks? King Stephan's in the castle! That was one of the first places I ate on my first trip to Disney! On our anniversary trip we were able to view wishes from the castle window (we had a table there!)!
What is your favorite ride or attraction at any of the Disney parks? This is hard because I love them all! But if I had to pick one it would be Thunder Mountain railroad! It is the only rollercoaster I like!
When visiting Disney theme parks, do you "park hop" or not and why? We used to, but found we wasted a lot of time. Now we just go to one park and enjoy everything.
What is your favorite Disney memory? Oh My Gosh! I have soooo many! But the happiest memory for me was my first trip and walking through the gates! I remember feeling like such a kid! I was enthralled with everything! It was instant love!
What is your favorite "extra cost" event/tour? Party of the Senses at the Food and Wine Festival! The food, wine, atmopshere and Cirque are amazing!
Have you met any MFL members at a Disney park? if so, who and what did you do? I have not met anyone yet! But now with the pictures we should be able to get to know one another better!
Besides "things Disney", what do you like to do in your free time? Spend time with my kids, go to the beach, spend time on the computer and enjoy living in Celebration! I live to watch the travel channel (especially Disney shows!) I also LOVE to shop!
What would people be surprised to know about you? That I donated a kidney to my step-father in 2001. He is 7 years older than me and he is doing WONDERFUL!
What is your best MouseForLess money saving tip? Eat a late lunch at the finer restaurants. The food is the same, the restaurants are quieter and you pay a lot less! Then snack for dinner! How about some ice cream sundaes and cinnamon pecans? Yum!
What area of TheMouseForLess.com do you use most frequently? The menus and savings areas. I have learned some great things on the website and have saved a lot of money!
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? The forums! It is so nice to talk with people who have such a love for Disney!
