Who does your family consist of? My husband, Steve, and daughter, Hanna.
What is your occupation? Co-owner of The Magic for Less, LLC.
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Mickey! He is the original Disney character.
As an ImaginEAR, what regular feature/job do you do for MFL? - Most of my duties in the company are working with the travel agency, but I do work to make sure that MFL has information on the latest Disney discounts.
How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? Way too many to count. I have stayed at every WDW and DL on-site resort and cruised both Disney ships and even traveled to Disneyland Paris. I love Disney destinations.
What is your favorite Disney Resort (or off site property) and why? I love Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World and the Grand Californian and the Disneyland hotel at DL. I love the theming of AKL and WL and GC, and I love the nostalgic feel I get at the DL hotel.
What is your favorite Disney restaurant, in or out of the parks? I have a few restaurants that are always on my short list of favorites LOL. I enjoy Artist Point, California Grill, Jiko and Yachtsman to name a few.
What is your favorite ride or attraction at any of the Disney parks? Ahh…there are so many LOL I love Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan and Splash Mountain, but really enjoy just about every attraction at the Disney parks.
When visiting Disney theme parks, do you "park hop" or not and why? I do “park hop.” I like the freedom of being able to spend the morning in one park and hop to another in the afternoon. I also enjoy the freedom of being able to enter a park just for the parade or fireworks that day.
What is your favorite Disney memory? I have favorite memories from every trip, and they all involve the people I was with and the magical things we were able to experience together.
What is your favorite "extra cost" event/tour? I think the evening parties like MNSSHP and MVMCP are always so fun. The special fireworks are great. I also think that Disney’s Dining Plans can really help guests save on their Disney dining costs, but you have to do your homework.
Have you met any MFL members at a Disney park? If so, who and what did you do? Yes, I have met many MFL members. I love the informal meets and get-togethers that happen in Disney, and I also enjoy having a good meal with folks who enjoy Disney as much as I do.
Besides "things Disney", what do you like to do in your free time? I love to scrapbook, and garden.
What would people be surprised to know about you? I kick butt at Guitar Hero on the Wii.
What is your best MouseForLess money saving tip? Saving money isn’t always about doing the least expensive option. It is about determining the value of your options. Some guests love the Value resorts and the money they save by staying there outweighs any options. Some feel the deluxe resorts are worth the extra money. Thankfully there are options for everyone!
What area of TheMouseForLess.com do you use most frequently? I use the Menus section, and the Resort Reviews all the time.
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? I like reading the opinions and experiences of others. I think it helps me make my decisions about the things I want to do and see on my next vacation.
