What is your occupation? I work part time in Accounting and part time as an independent agent for the Magic For Less Travel. Full time mommy, cook, housekeeper, etc..........
Who is your favorite Disney Character and why? Tinkerbell, she's feisty.
As an ImaginEAR, what regular feature/job do you do for MFL? - I do several jobs here on MFL. I do the weekly birthday announcements, I run the FREEBIES giveaway and the Very Merry Holiday giveaway. I do the MFL Roll Call, Fairy Godparents announcements, Disney Expert, moderate the list.
How many times have you vacationed to a Disney destination? 30 plus times (I honestly lost track).
What is your favorite Disney Resort (or off site property) and why? Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's just beautiful, the view, the animals. The whole atmosphere is wonderful. You really feel like you are far, far away.............
What is your favorite Disney restaurant, in or out of the parks? Boma and Ohana. I love them both, equally. :)
What is your favorite ride or attraction at any of the Disney parks? Hard question!! I think I have to say my all time favorite is Tower of Terror! And going way, way back in time, If You Had Wings (hey, I was a little kid, lol).
When visiting Disney theme parks, do you "park hop" or not and why? Not usually. I like to stick to one park per day.
What is your favorite Disney memory? I have 3. One from when I was a child and my first visit in 1972. Walking into Magic Kingdom and seeing Cinderella's castle. Second one is taking my daughter for the first time and the first time she saw the castle and was amazed! She couldn't believe she was seeing Cinderella's home!! And the third was from this past June, traveling with my 3 year old niece Giana and her reacting to seeing the castle for the first time, "OMG GOSH, Aunt T-T it's the castle, it's the CASTLE". She was very loud about it and so excited (ask Carol V if you don't believe me, lol). Hum... Something about that castle that does it to people!
What is your favorite "extra cost" event/tour? I did the Mickey's Milestone Tour, which was great. But I have to admit, the tickets we're a gift to me from one of our members, so I can't say I really spent extra on the tour. I would like to try the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Maybe next trip.
Have you met any MFL members at a Disney park? If so, who and what did you do? I met up with Holly and her family during one trip at Epcot and Carol V. and I have our annual trip in June that we spend together. I've had dinner one night with Binnie and Linda at O'hana (back in 2004). Met Barb and Annette really quick at Chef Mickey's one night (2007). And I know this says parks, but during December when we have our MFL World Day Meet I've met Stacey Cain and her family, Marie Lemmon and her family and Bruce Sherman. Oh, and from time to time I see Mike Corbo roaming around town (we live near each other).
Besides "things Disney", what do you like to do in your free time? Play on the computer, coupons, photography and hanging out with the family.
What would people be surprised to know about you? I love tattoos. I currently have 7 and I'm not done yet. People see me and the last thing they expect to see on me are my tattoos. And tattoos get such a bad rap. :o
What is your best MouseForLess money saving tip? First, use the Magic for Less Travel agency. They make trip planning so much easier. Second, make a budget and stick to it. We have so much information on our website that you can get your prices for meals, pricing for tours, etc. And don't forget to leave extra money for those 20 hats you'll come home with!!
What area of TheMouseForLess.com do you use most frequently? I have to say our Photo Gallery. Members can upload their own photos to the site. And I like the Resort Reviews too.
What is your favorite aspect of MFL? How everyone is so caring to each other. Now and then we have some disagreements, but all in all this group is the best. We have a lot of fun features that most groups don't have (freebies giveaway, monthly drawings, etc).
