GUIDE TO THE BOARDWALK PROMENADE

The BoardWalk Resort is possibly the liveliest resort on WDW property. The promenade includes restaurants, pubs, nightclubs and a sports bar.

On the Villas side of the Boardwalk is a Wyland Galleries studio. Next to that is the Screen Door General Store, which stocks food and sundries, the Character Carnival, a Disney character shop, and Thimbles & Threads for apparel.

Next to the shops is the Big River Grill brewpub and the Disney Vacation Club office and models. Stop in for a tour if you are interested in joining or just want to see what all the fuss is about.

On the end of the row you'll find Jellyrolls, featuring a dueling pianos show nightly.

Visit Atlantic Dance Hall for specialty drinks and live music.

There is a cover charge to enter the nightclubs.

On the Inn side there are places to eat. The Flying Fish Caf/ features fine dining and fresh seafood.

Seashore Sweets offers ice cream, cookies, fudge, saltwater taffy and coffee. The decor commemorates the Miss America pageant.

Spoodles has a Mediterranean menu featuring tapas at dinner. There's also a carryout window offering pizza, whole or by the slice, to go.

The Boardwalk Bakery is the place to grab breakfast in the morning.

The ESPN Club is the place for fans to get food, drinks, and a sports fix.

In the evenings, street performers and carnival games enliven the Promenade.

RECREATION AT BOARDWALK RESORT

The BoardWalk has three pools. The main pool, Luna Park, has a carnival/circus theme. It features a 200-foot themed waterslide called the Keister Coaster. A playground and wading pool are also located here. Thereās also the Leaping Horse Libations pool bar.

There are two smaller quiet pools. Each pool has a hot tub. Community Hall, located at the Villas quiet pool, rents bicycles. Surrey bikes can be rented on the Promenade and ridden all the way around Crescent Lake.

Next to the ESPN Club you'll find an arcade. Muscles & Bustles fitness club, located by the Luna Park pool, is a complete fitness center with steam room and sauna. There are two lighted tennis courts, and a marina for boat rentals.
