GUIDE TO CORONADO SPRINGS GUEST AREAS

Coronado Springs combines Mexican and American Southwest themes. The guest buildings are grouped into three distinct areas, all arranged around the
central lagoon, Lago Dorado.
To the right of El Centro is the Casitas section. It is architectually patterned after Mexico City.

The Casitas section has 5 buildings, which feature lush landscaping, fountains and courtyards.

Guests staying in Casitas Buildings 1 through 3 can access El Centro without leaving the protection of a roof or overhang. Bus Stops 1 and 2 are located close to the Casitas. Most convention attendees are assigned to rooms here.
Continuing clockwise around Lago Dorado, the next section is the Ranchos. These buildings are themed after the deserts of the American Southwest.

The Ranchos features desert landscaping with lots of cacti and rocks. These buildings are the farthest from El Centro but are close to the Dig Site pool area. Bus Stops 2 and 3 are close to the Ranchos buildings.

The final section is the Cabanas, themed after the beaches of Mexico. The Cabanas has its own beach on the shore of Lago Dorado. Hammocks strung in the trees are very popular places to sit for awhile.

Cabanas Building 9B is located next to El Centro and is very convenient for guests who would like easy access to El Centro and to the Dig Site pool.
