Survivor Final Thoughts
As I sit....reflections from a reporter...
August 8, 2001
Hi all,
I'm letting the board know my thoughts...
As I sit here, reading through my emails and working
on my report, it's kinda weird to know that my now
empty survivorgreen (and red and blue) folders will be
emptied and deleted at the end of this week, with no
more overflowing chats from the tribes. I shed a
tear, (no not really, I've still got so much to keep
me going! lol)
I just wanted to say, for myself, it's been wicked fun
spying on everyone, and I will miss the heckling
banter between each other. I will also miss checking
in with Binnie on my thoughts.
As for me, I've been busy with my rewards site, and
have found a way around the disney graphics ;)
Hubby has finally given in to my webobsession and next
trip to WDW, we're buying a 4 room timeshare so we're
locked in to the World! (providing I'm gainfully
employed!)
It's been really great reporting to you all and I hope
you've enjoyed reading as much as I've enjoyed
writing.
Looking forward to the next venture!

Tina's final thoughts now that it's over
August 8, 2001
Well, when I applied to be in the Survivor game, I had no idea of the fun,
trouble, friends, whining, information, time consuming, team spirit, and
laughs that this would entail. I thought I knew a lot about Disney, but I
learned that there is always a lot more that you don't know.
I want to thank my fellow Divas and the Kungalooshes for a great game! I do
have to say that I enjoyed the team efforts more than the individual ones.
And I have to say that I felt sorry for the producers in that they had to be
almost tearing their hair out trying to come up with fun challenges while
staying neutral. I had no idea that this "game" would take on such a life of
its own, numerous rules and all.
Although most of the MFL digest readers did not have the time to get involved
with the game, I hope, at least, that they all learned something from the
challenges. I hope the next game goes as well as this one did.
It was fun, but now lets get on to other things like the 2001 Member Party!

Tami's final thoughts on Survivor
August 7, 2001
Back when I originally applied for this game in April, I had no clue what I
was getting myself into. I originally applied for the chance to win the $25
and to claim the title of "Ultimate Disneydollerless Survivor". Somewhere along the way these last few months, my priorities changed. I learned there are some things more important than money and some title (making new friends and helping others who really need the help).
I also learned:
1. Not to take things too seriously when disagreements arise, as they
always will
2. Sometimes you will find new friends in the most unexpected of places
3. Remember a game is just a game, don't forget to have fun at it!
4. You will never be able to please everyone, so just accept that and get on with things.
5. Teamwork rocks!
(Begin Oscar Winning Award Speach Now. LOL)
I would like to thank Binnie and all those who put in so much time behind the
scenes with this game. I'm sure you all put in just as much time, if not
more, than the players did. I would like to thank all the players for some
great competition. I would like to thank all the Disneydollerless members that chose to follow the game and support us. Most of all I would like to thank all the Divas, who through all the ups and downs of the last few months, proved one important thing: DIVAS RULE!!!

(End of Oscar Winning Award Speech because the music is starting to play and
I'm going to get cut off so the director can cut to a commercial)
MickeyšošKokoleka's Farewell Address
August 7, 2001
To Binnie, the producers, my fellow Divas and Kungas, and of course,
TheMouseForLess,
Howdy!
This was quite an experience. Parts were good and parts weren't, but
I'm glad I was in it and wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
The bad parts-
-the ungodly amount of time this required- and that's just for the
players! I'm really glad I wasn't a producer!
-very little participation from the rest of the list. Binnie all but
begged for folks to come vote, but we only had a very few followers.
Thank you very much loyal fans!!! The rest of you , however, really
missed out on some good and entertaining travel tips that both teams
worked hard on. I understand most of you thought it was too late to
play, and others thought it was merely a game with little bearing on
the purpose of the list. Neither were true, it's a pity you lost out.
Hopefully more will read the challenges and vote if there is another
game, I know I will.;-)
-Some bad sportsmanship early on followed by even worse whining over
being made to follow the rules. All but one of the players of both
teams are adults, but a few had trouble acting like it at times.
Luckily, for the most part, the players on both teams acted with
honor and humor. Those that didn't really spoiled it for themselves
more than anything else and that is sad.
-Silly assumptions that colored both teams' perceptions of the other,
sometimes for the worst. These could not be avoided because of the
need for secrecy between the teams, and once Bonnie's report came
out, most were straightened out anyway. But one has hung on, to my
vast amusement. Some of the Kungas were under the impression that we
Divas were winning challenges on name recognition/popularity. I just
want to point out a few items and set the record straight on this
point:
1-at the time this claim was made, the Kungas had won both of the
first 2 challenges- both name identified.
2-those challenges that were anonymous (to limit our name
recognition points, I assume, though we didn't ever have any) were
pretty evenly split. If their claim was correct- they should have won
them all.
3-the Kungas insulted themselves by this claim by not giving
themselves enough credit for their own team talents.
4-the Kungas insulted the Divas with this claim, insinuating that
we had no talent, only a cool name.
5- until the teams merged, and the Divas managed to "rid the
world of Kungas one by one" (sorry Mike-VBG), the Kungas were solidly
ahead, again, an accomplishment that couldn't have happened had their
claim been remotely true.
Since the challenges spoke for themselves, we decided to be amused,
rather than offended by this claim, and felt sorry for those who
continued to cleave to it to the end. Those folks must not have had
much self-confidence.
The good parts-
-I learned a lot more about WDW than I thought I could- before I
played this, I thought I was pretty much an expert- NOT!
-I made some good friends, got closer to some old ones (Lori- ;-),
and got to know people that I would never have had to chance to
otherwise.
-I got to excersise some creative juices that had been dormant for
some time. My favorite challenge was the Divas Night Before
Christmas. That was so much fun to write and everyone had such good
ideas to blend together. Having Cronk drive the Safari Jeep was lots
of fun, too. Wouldn't it have been fun to combine the two? Then
Binnie could have danced on the table with Cronk!
Lastly, I'd like to thank Binnie, Stacy, Christin, Bonnie, the
Kungas, and my dear Divas for a wonderful time. I don't know when
I've been more frustrated and not been at work, or had more fun and
not been at WDW!

Tricia's Final Thoughts
August 7, 2001
Although I elected myself to be "voted off" early on (due to not fulfilling my duties as a student at Franklin University), I had fun. I love the challenges (though frustrating at times), it gave me a new way of planning this vacation. I have thrown out my old plans for this vacation next year, and using items from these challenges. I am looking forward to the next game, what ever it may be (Millionaire, etc...). Now back to normal...I think.

Kunga Linda's Farewell Statement
July 30, 2001
First, thank you to Binnie and all of Producers, including Scoop Bonnie for
all the time and hard work they put into The Survivor Game. Who would have
ever thought of all the disputes and questions that came up along the way.
I made some wonderful friends especially Minnie Producer Lisa, King of the
Kungaloosh Mike and Paris Jen. I really feel like we are just beginning to
see how wonderful, creative and successful The Mouse For less Site will
be. I am looking forward spending more time back on the message boards again.
I never thought I would make it as far along in the game as I did. It has
been a long but productive few months. The Kungaloosh Tribe worked together
so well, even in our ups and downs and in the face of "immunity punishment"
no one ever gave up.
Scoop Bonnie said it best in one of her earlier reports that the Kungaloosh
Tribe would not go down without a fighting to the end. I think although it
looks like a Diva will win, we fought relentlessly in the true survivor
sprite of the TV Show. We believed hard work should be rewarded and winning
should not be a popularity contest.
Good Luck to all the remaining contestants, Kunga and Divas alike.
Farewell for now as the torch has been extinguished.

Mike Corbo's Exit Statement
July 23, 2001
First of all, let me say that I have the utmost respect for Binnie and the producers of this little gameshow. They have had to deal with situations over the last few months that none of us could have ever imagined. I am sure that they never expected this game to be as involved as it has become.
As for my fellow survivors, they have earned my respect and friendship over the past 3 months. What a great bunch of people!! I wish them all the luck in the remaining portion of the game.
I believe that I am the first survivor to be voted out unanimously by both the ex-Divas and ex-Kungalooshers. My slight indiscretion of posting a private email to the TheMouseForLess list is probably the main reason for this and my downfall. Some felt that asking friends and acquaintances on the list is not appropriate to do in this game and it may not have been fair. Fairness is a word that has been bandied about in this game since the first week! My advise to them...
This game is not about being fair, it's about utilizing the resources that you have available to you in order to survive and win while playing within the guidelines set down by the producers. That my friends is the name of the game, SURVIVOR. The only way to is to think of yourself first and your teammates second.
And with that I will close and thank all those that have followed this game for their support and encouragement.

Lisa's Exit Statement
July 16, 2001
For 11 weeks, I have been playing the Survivor game, and then got
voted out on week 11. I am kind of sad for being voted out, but I
also had the opportunity to meet great people, and have a fun time
doing the challenges and chats. There was only two things I didn't
like about the game, and that was having to leave, and the individual
challenges [as opposed to team challenges]....I didn't like those,
too hard. LOL So that's what I liked and disliked about Survivor!
