Don't Miss: The icons! DS loved playing on the checkers outside the Toy Story building...there's a water play area by the Herbie the Love bug section too....just lots of cute icons!

Room Location Suggestion: We were in Toy Story building 10 room 835 2nd floor! While 1st floor would have been ideal we were only 3 rooms from the steps and really close to the front of the main building thus the bus stops!

The Mouse For Less Tip: The bounceback offer! Watch for them or ask at the front dest! We booked and are headed back 9/12/09-9/20/09, we also were able to book 2 rooms next year since there were 2 adults currently staying there...we are hoping my parents will come with us! they have never been and it will be during their 42nd annviersary!

Comments: We love this resort! We are barely in our rooms so for us it's perfect! Plus this year we didn't share the buses with the other All Star resorts so it was really nice! There are 2 pools and the smaller pool which is Mighty Ducks themed was always empty! Only a family or 2 there! We also had no problems with DS's tube for in the pool nor did we last year. Also book through the MFL travel! This was our first year ever using them and Marsha our TA was awesome! They book your dining for you as well which saves you a ton of hassle!!! We will never travel to WDW again without using MFL! (no they aren't paying me to say that!) She also gave me some advice on dining as this was our 1st year to use the dining plan and eat at any TS....

Don't Miss: The theming at this resort, like all of the value resorts, is great, especially for kids. The large movie icons are a lot of fun to walk around and look at and make great photo-ops!

Room Location Suggestion: We were in the Toy Story building, which is a "preferred" building, so it was pretty close to everything.

The Mouse For Less Tip: For as much time as we spent in our room, Disney Value Resorts are the way to go.

Comments: I haven't stayed in this resort for several years and I must say, I was disappointed. Our room was in pretty bad shape, including mildew on our ceiling and wet carpet in front of the door for the 1st day and a half. They were pressure washing the walkways outside when we arrived and we assume the water went under the door in to our room. Things were just a lot "shabbier" looking than at Pop Century (our "value of choice") or at Sports (where we've stayed several times in the last year, in totally refurbed rooms).

Now and then you hit the busses at "a bad time", but we had this happen several times. Once, we waited for well over 40 minutes for a bus we could actually ride! Empty buses came and went for every other stop MANY times, but when a bus arrived at our stop, it was FULL. The driver would stop, get out and say "sorry, we don't have any room" and drive off. After complaining to the front desk, a "non-Disney" bus arrived to pick us up but unfortunately, although it was empty, it had no handicap access! There were a small child in a wheelchair that had waited as long as we had and he and his family couldn't board! Finally the father asked if they CARRIED their son on, could that at least put his wheelchair in the luggage compartment under the bus, which the driver did allow.
