Don't Miss: Love just walking around this resort, really pretty. You kind
of forget that you are at Disney in a good way.
Room Location Suggestion: Not really sure, we were in the Ranchos, since
this was our first stay, can’t really say if something else would have been
better, but it was a bit of a walk to the main building (but not horrible).
The Mouse For Less Tip: I did not have a chance to research this hotel much
before leaving. I had heard talks about Pepper Market but when we went to
eat the first night, DD13 was having a moment and I ended up ordering food
at what I thought was the counter service restaurant and it turned out that
it was not, forget the name of the place off-hand, but I remember thinking
that the food selection was not that good. The day we checked out we were
spending with a friend, and while waiting for her to come and get us, we
stumbled upon Pepper Market, which is a bit confusing. We accidently
entered through the exit (again not remembering what other people had posted
about eating here). So we got in line to select food, only to have to get
out of line, to get a number, and be seated to get back in line again :o( Had
a nice breakfast here, but prefer the counter/quick service places were you
go and select your food and then go pay and then worry about a table.
Comments: DD13 did not like the main pool, although it might have been that
she was off-kilter this day, but this was the night she had her biggest
break-down on the trip. We were supposed to eat dinner out by the pool and
she was going to swim and she went ahead to the pool and I was going to meet
her there with food. She ended up meeting at the main building and we
walked back and ate at the room. She said there were a lot of bugs in the
pool. I never did actually get to see the pool.
Also, the buses seemed to be really good here, going and coming from the park. Not sure if it is because of the late starts we got and we never made it to park closing. We were also a short walk from a bus stop.

Don't Miss: The main pool - Dig Site.
Room Location Suggestion: we were is Casitas, Building 4, Room 441 - it was very close to the bus stop and quiet pool - but about 1/2 way to the Pepper Market and the Dig Site.
The Mouse For Less Tip: Generally we found most merchandise in the parks was also available at the resort gift shop - we have found this to be true at other resorts as well - check out the gift shop on your first night or 2 to see what they have.
Comments: This is a large resort - we had heard mixed reviews about it before we left and were aware of its size - I think it is very manageable if you are able to get a room closer to the Pepper Market and Dig site - we did a lot of walking at the resort..... we also found the transportation to be good (which was another concern of mine) CSR was very centrally located to AK, DHS and Epcot. It was the last of the moderates that we hadn't stayed at and while I would not hesitate to stay there again - our hearts belong to POFQ.

Don't Miss: The lobby LOL.
Room Location Suggestion: We stayed in Casitas 1 and it was a short
walk to the food court. My mother is handicapped and we had
requested a room near the food court, pool and bus stop. It was only
near the food court. The main pool is far from everything! They
need another bridge from the opposite direction for that! The bus
stop was either in front of the lobby or in front of bldg 4.
The Mouse For less Tip: Free microwave on request (never used ours
though...it smelled to high heaven!)
Comments: I will never stay in this resort again. It is too spread
out. Our refrigerator didn't work and ruined my son's yogurt and
milk. I called at 8pm for a replacement and called again at
8:30...they had never put the call in. At 9 they dragged by the cord
on the sidewalk! a new refrigerator to our room. I asked for two
pillows...they brougt two blankets....when I said I asked for pillows
he said they were out?! but he could put the blankets in a
pillowcase...no thanks. There were NO hidden Mickeys anywhere in the
decor. the inner transport (golf carts) drove like maniacs on the
same sidewalk where everyone walked. I almost saw a young boy get
his arm torn off while two carts passed each other...scary! The
walls were paper thin...I heard the man upstairs urinating! UGH!

Originally, our rate was a little higher than this using a AAA
discount, but then we received a great email from Jessica, our Magic
For Less travel agent. She told us a Room Only Discount Code came
out for our dates & applied it to our reservation!

Don't Miss: The Pepper Market Food Court, which I feel is underrated
by many. We ate there many times on our trip & both my DH & I felt
that the food choices were much more varied & many of them were made
fresh as opposed to food courts at some of the other moderates.
The Dig Site, which is the pool area including a playground,
volleyball court, whirlpool, outdoor bar called Siestas Cantina,
arcade & you can get a counter svc. lunch & eat poolside while
there. The pool also has a great water slide.
Room Location Suggestion: I've posted this before, but I am a real
stickler for having a seat on the bus. If this is important to you,
ask for a room in Casitas 4. This section is the closest to Bus Stop
#2 which the bus goes to first. So you are virtually guaranteed a
seat.
The Mouse For less Tip: Not only for this resort, but ordering a case
of water, cereal, & snacks from GardenGrocer.com. & of course the
Refillable Mugs which can be filled in the Pepper Market & Cafe Rix,
the quick service food shop right next to it.
Comments: Though some people don't like the fact that CSR is a
convention hotel, we found it worked to our benefit because many of
the convention people are busy working & NOT using the pools, going
to the parks, etc. We stayed at CSR twice before, but it was several
yrs. ago & we forgot how great this resort is. The theming is
wonderful, the resort is in a beautiful setting & is very relaxing.
A great escape & wonderful place to return to from a day at the parks.

Don't Miss: The Dig Site ( the main pool area ) Has a really good
slide even adults like it.
Room Location Suggestion: We stayed at Casitas1. It was very close
to the main area--registration and food court.
The Mouse For Less Tip: If you have the time and energy take a walk
around the resort. We took pictures of the resort in the early morning hours and it was really beautiful. Explore the resort there are little courtyards all over the place that are really special.
Comments: I had read several negative reviews on this resort but I
found it delightful. We got the room I requested as I have problems walking up stairs it was on the ground level and close to the main area. It was perfect. There are large golf carts that run between the main area and any where you want to go. really convenient.
