Type Of Resort: Disney Value

Theming: 10
Room Size: 8
Amenities: 9
Quality: 8
Cleanliness: 9
Transportation: 9

Value: 9

Over All Rating: 9

Don't Miss: Walk around the resort and check out all the different decades.

Room Location Suggestion: 80's

The Mouse For Less Tip: We were in the back near the parking lot so next time I would pay the extra for a prefered room.

Comments: This is a very busy resort so if your looking for something quite with out kids this isn't the one for you. If you like busy and people everywhere all the time this is the one for you. The buses weren't bad either. This is my second stay there and I will stay there over the All Stars.

Don't Miss:

Room Location Suggestion: We were in the 60s in the back so it was a long walk, we started to cut throught the buildings and walk through the parking lot to get to the busses.

The Mouse For Less Tip:

Comments: I would recommend the All Stars before pop. Theming is nicer, smaller, more buses, less walking.

I have been to Disney 13 times and this was a bit disappointing because of the buses-------leer

Don't Miss: The different "era" pictures/collages in the lobby - 70's, 80's, and 90's- it was a fun nostalgic look back. Also the 6PM "Hustle" in the food court was quite fun!

Room Location Suggestion: We were in the 90's building and it was farthest from the food court and buses, but it was worth the walk for the QUIET. Rooms were extremely quiet. We chose an upper level room so we could avoid foot traffic in front of our door. We were facing the parking lot and avoided any pool noise. Very quiet location - would recommend if you don't mind a 5 -7 minute walk for food and buses.

The Mouse For Less Tip: Get the refillable mugs for a definite savings on sodas and coffee.

Comments: There were only 2 of us, so we thought the room was plenty big, but I think it would be cramped for 4 adults. Resort was QUIET and CLEAN, ground were very well maintained. oversize theming objects were fun. Rooms were very quiet - only time I realized there were others next door is when we heard an occasional toilet flush, otherwise no noise from neighboring rooms. Pool area was very roomy. Food court was crowded and food only mediocre, but ok for breakfast and snacks. Check in and out was VERY efficient and so was airline resort check in. We checked our bags in at Pop Century and didn't have to worry about them againm until we arrived home in Philly. Also we were there during Tropical Storm Fay and staff did a great job keeping guests informed about the storm and any operations changes. Mousekeeping staff seemed a bit unfriendly and didn't seem to do the extras like towel animals which we experienced on other trips. All in all I'd recommend this resort for a smaller family or for adults with small children. For the money we paid and the amount of time we actually sepnt in-room, it was well worth it. It does not have all the extras and flash that the deluxe or even moderates do, but it was comfortable, clean and lots of fun!

Type Of Resort: Disney Value

Rate Paid During Your Stay: Total for the Disney Vacation was $1116. We had a standard room in the 50's section. We booked through MagicFor Less (shout out to Emily!!! You're terrific!!) We had 6 day parkhoppers & free dining.

Room Sleeps : We were 2 - but, could have had 4.

Please Rate The Following On A Scale From 1-10 (10 being the best):

Theming:
Room Size: 10
Amenities: 8 - I just wish they had coffee pots in the Value Resorts!
Quality: 9br> Cleanliness: 9
Transportation: 10 - We only used the bus to get to MK...otherwise, we used our rental car.
Recreation: 9 - We went swimming twice...so fun!!
Value: 10+++

Over All Rating: 9.5 - It's a Value resort, not Moderate...for the pricepaid, it was great. I really enjoy staying at Pop Century!!

Don't Miss: Hourglass Lake...we saw the biggest turtles swimming. Guys were fishing and the turtles kept trying to steal the bait!!

Room Location Suggestion: As stated we were in the 50's,room number: 5112. It was in the back, on the corner, right by the staircase. Not a bad walk at all to the central Hall.

The Mouse For Less Tip: The Resort Mugs really do pay for themselves after just a couple of days.

Comments: I really like this resort. The staff is so helpful & friendly. They even surprised us with cards & balloons on our second day there. We werecelebrating our 'special' birthdays..60th & 40th. I had a problem with a chargethat I wasn't supposed to have, and it was taken care of within 5 minutes...Love the 'no-hassle' stuff!! The Icons are always a treat for my son, too!If anyone has any questions...feel free to ask on the list or privately...I'll be glad to answer anything I can. We really did have a great time!
