Don't Miss: Coloring, crafts & cookies in the lobby, 6 pm ceremony at
great ceremonial house, watch fireworks on the beach or while night swimming in the pool, if you have young children, take the boat to the magic kingdom.
Room Location Suggestion: Get a room near Captain Cook's so one
parent can bring meals back to the room without ordering room service.
The Mouse For Less Tip: The fountain drink mugs.
Comments: it is worth every penny, the atmosphere is so relaxing and
yet you can see the Magic Kingdom.

Name Of Resort: Polynesian Resort
Date Of Stay: October 2007
Type Of Resort: WDW Deluxe
Rate Paid During Your Stay: I can't remember the exact rate. However, our Magic For Less travel agent got a better deal on our "Land and Sea" package with staying at the Polynesian, than the Land and Sea vacation we were trying to put together on our own using a "moderate" resort!
Room Sleeps : 4 (Perhaps a 5th on the sofa.)

Don't Miss: Time to relax and simply walk around to enjoy the tropical plants!
Room Location Suggestion: The Tokelau building was very nice. Away from the noise of the volcano pool (which is quite fun, but active!) Yet central to the resort.
The Mouse For Less Tip: Maybe it wasn't the cheapest on the menu, but getting rained out from Fantasmic, we returned and ordered room service. We had the coconut/almond chicken -- and it was AMAZING! We strongly recommend it.
Comments: We LOVED the access to the monorail, (and the buses were frequent too.) The proximity to the Magic Kingdom is fabulous! Fun to take the boat across to the MK too. The room was extremely spacious for our family of three. A wonderful stay!

Don't Miss: The sunrise, sunset and fireworks over the lagoon along with the water parade; 'Ohana; the Luau.
Room Location Suggestion: We have been lucky enough to stay in several of the longhouses, but on this visit we had a fantastic room in Fiji, Room 2318,
overlooking the marina and close to the Great Ceremonial House.
The Mouse For Less Tip: If you book a garden view room be sure to fax a room request a week before your arrival date to Room Assignments and request Fiji Longhouse. Room numbers on the marina side are x311-x322 (the x indicating the floor level) and the room numbers on the luau cove side are x301-x310.
Comments: This is our favorite Disney hotel. The atmosphere makes you feel at home and the cast members are fantastic. You're able to rent boats in the marina and both pools are great. One of the great features of the hotel is that you can take a boat over to the Magic Kingdom or ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
