Don't Miss: The Lobby is just stunning!
Room Location Suggestion: We were in 8559 and it was a great location. Close to the pool and the bus stop.
The Mouse For Less Tip: Their breakfasts are huge. After the first morning, DH
shared his breakfast with DS4 and I shared with DD7.
Comments: When we checked in there was no remote control and no ethernet cable. I called and was told that they were finding a lot of things missing since the
Pop Warner kids had checked out that AM. They immediately brought down the
remote, but the ethernet cable wasn't brought until the morning we were leaving.
The room wasn't the cleanest, either. There was mold in the bathroom and a
dirty baby spoon under the bed. The spoon was still there when we checked out.
I did express this to the front desk when we were leaving and they said "Hmm".
That was it. We never waited LESS than 20 minutes for a bus when we were
leaving the park at night. I'm not sure we'd stay there again.

Don't Miss: Walking through the Bayou.
Room Location Suggestion: We were in Room 3412 which is on the first
floor and it was a corner room so it was very spacious.
The Mouse For Less Tip: We enjoyed eating in the Food Court for
breakfst and our coffe was always fresh.
Comments: If you are looking for a different theme try this one. As
you are walking along the walkway it reminds you of the swamps in New
Orleans. Lots of shade trees around so you are not in the sun all
day.

Date Of Stay: August 17 - 22, 2007
Type Of Resort: Disney Moderate
Rate Paid During Your Stay: Approx. $117/night. Originally we were at about
$150/night but our agent at the Magic For Less rebooked us when a code came
out and saved us a bunch!
Room Sleeps: 4 - We had two double beds

Theming: 10 10 We were in Oak Manor which was a beautiful side of the river.
We didn't get over into Alligator Bayou side much except for one night when
we got off on the wrong bus stop!
Room Size: 8 We were quite comfortable (There were 4 of us: 2 adults, 2
children)
Amenities: 9 We seemed to have everything we needed including a small
refrigerator.
Quality: 9 This has become one of our favorites.
Cleanliness: 10 Our Mousekeeper even made those cute little towel animals
for us each day.
Transportation: 9 Our particular building was very close to a bus stop and
so it was very easy to get around. We also used the river boat to get to
Downtown Disney.
Recreation: 9 We tried out the surrey bikes and saw people on several
different watercraft during our stay. The arcade was always busy and I
loved the cards for playing instead of hunting around for quarters for the
kids.
Value: 10
Over all rating: 9
Don't Miss: My girls loved the fact that our building had a pool as well as
the theme of the main pool. The food had healthier choices than I remember
and my daughter was even able to get chocolate soy milk there (she's lactose
intolerant).
The Mouse For Less Tip: Don't just stay one night like we did! This resort is
big and there is lots of exploring to be done! We didn't see half of what we
wanted to because we only stayed one night!
Room Location Suggestion: I highly recommend Oak Manor. It was close to a
bus stop, a short walk from the main building and since were in the middle
of the building (9004), it was quiet almost all the time except for when
they turned on the power washers at about 9am.
The Mouse For Less Tip: We got great use from our refillable mugs (we bought
two) because we spent one entire day at the hotel swimming and enjoying what
they had to offer. We also found small boxes of cereal and Entenman's
donuts in the gift shop which saved us money on breakfast. We weren't on
the dining plan and my girls aren't big breakfast eaters but love to eat in
the hotel room. The gift shop will also give you bowls and spoons (they
have them behind the counter) for free if you buy the variety pack of the
cereal.
Comments: This has definitely become one of my favorite resorts and I'm
happy to share photos with anyone that wants to see them.

Don't Miss: The boat ride to Downtown Disney Room Location Suggestion: We were in the Alligator Bayou section, I think it was building 38 or something. Good location, fairly close to bus stop, parking lot and a short trip to the pool.

Comments: I have no complaints about this resort! It was the best hotel that
we have stayed at and we have stayed on site about 8 times. At checkin, they
hostess was so helpful trying to find us an available room with a good location!
Very nice!
