Okay for Children: Great place for kids, excellent for birthdays.
Okay for Couples: Yes, good choice for a fun honeymoon.
Be Sure To Try: The fresh fruit.
General Tips:
Bring your camera for the breakfast with Minnie & Friends, lots of great photo oppurtunities.
The Mouse For Less Tip:
Its one flat rate for the buffet, so come hungry and get your money's worth.
Extra Comments:
I spent my 30th B-Day there with my Mom and had the best time. Well worth the money and the time. Great tasting food and lots of selection. The charcters come to your table and spend time with you throughout your meal. Great chance for photos and alot of fun.

When: December 1, 2008 (review submitted March 17, 2009)
What:
I got penne pasta with marinara sauce and a large bottle of water and a piece of carrot cake, Marcel got the chicken breast with a large bottle of water and Lorien got the Kid's Penne meal.
Food:
3 - I have consistently found the pasta in this restaurant to be oily.
Service:
4 - although this is a cafeteria style restaurant, a CM at the front helped us!
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children:
Yes, although I find a price of $6.49 for a KID'S meal at a restaurant with no wait staff way too high. Thankfully, we got a discount.
Okay for Couples:
Yes, the dining room is very pretty with crystal sconces and velvet curtains, and the outdoor dining area is really nice on a patio that has heat lamps when it's cold. (It wasn't on this day.)
Be Sure To Try:
the carrot cake was delicious and I sure hope it counts as a vegetable because it's pretty much the only "veggie" my daughter ate all day.
General Tips:
This is a good choice for lunch or dinner if you like fried chicken. (I really don't)
Extra Comments:
We went at 4:29 PM and there was hardly anyone there.
Dont miss - the carrot cake was outrageously good - once again, however, the piece was easily enough for Marcel, Lorien and I to share.
Who: My husband and I
Where: The Plaza Inn
When: December 10, 2008
What:
we ate dinner here. Great idea was to eat when the parade was going on, less people in the restaurant. Only problem was its cafeteria style. This was aproblem because my husband walks with a cane. We found a bus boy who carried his tray outside to eat. The food was great...he had penne pasta with meat sauce and I had prime rib.
Price of Entrees: $7.00 for pasta and $15.00 for prime rib.
Food: 5
Service:
3
Atmosphere: 3,
too dark outside and heaters were too hot
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
General Tips:
If its too cold sit inside. Sit by a light if outside.
TheMouseForLess Tip: Very generous food amounts and free refills on drinks.
Extra Comments:
Check your tray before you leave if you eat outside. It was so dark I forgot to pick up my change and annual pass of my tray. Checked at lost and found and nothing. I know the busser could at least see the money on the tray.

When: June 2008
What: Dinner, to go took to rivers of america for fantasmic!
Price of Entrees: $13.50 each
Food: 1
Service: 1, manager argued with me.
Atmosphere: 3, didn't pay attention, took to go
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: Stay away from the chicken.
General Tips: Chicken breasts are under cooked, come in pre-cooked, and just need to be reheated in fryers. not heated long enough, I received some still bleeding. Mashed Potatoes luke warm, small portions for side items.
TheMouseForLess Tip: Go elsewhere.
Extra Comments: Rude manager, treated me like a dumb female with the raw chicken, finally refunded meal price when informed I am a restaurant cook who knows all about the chicken.

Okay for Children: Yes, I have a picky eater and he loved his meal
Okay for Couples: We ate there as a family, but would definately eat there as just a couple
Be Sure to Try: The pasta and the chicken are both great choices!!
TheMouseForLess Tip: Very filling for the money. One of the best deals in the park in my opinion. Discounts for AAA and APs.

Okay for Children: Absolutely. There were mostly children when we were eating.
Okay for Couples: Not really, my husband and I are kids at heart and I would say for breakfast it was a very good time but for dinner not so much, loud and crowded.
Be Sure to Try: EVERYTHING ON THE BREAKFAST MENU!!! IT'S ALL GOOD.
Who: Valcarce Family
Where: Plaza Inn, on the right side of Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park
When: October 3rd, 2006
What: Lunch - 2 Penne pastas, one with marinara sauce, 1 with Bolognese sauce, and two large bottles of water
Approximate Price of Entrees: $11.99 per pasta, $2.25 per bottle of water
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3 - the portion was huge, but both our pasta dishes were oily.
Service: 4 - counter service - we got there as it opened for lunch and there was a short wait
Atmosphere: 5 - really pretty, one of those counter service places that feels like a sit down because of the decor
Okay for Children: Yes. Even more so for the character breakfast, or if your child is celebrating a birthday.
Okay for Couples: Not really the most romantic setting
Be Sure to Try: As I said, somewhat disappointed in the pasta dish.
General tips: We were there exactly when they were opening for lunch (12 noon) and there was a short line. This is very close to the Baby Care Center for those with small children.
TheMouseForLess tips: the pasta dish was huge. I only ate half of it. It's certainly possible for two people who aren't ravenous to share one.
Extra Comments: If you eat at this restaurant at night, sit outside and look at the twinkling lights!
Who: Jen in SoCal
Where: Plaza Inn at Disneyland

What: Dinner. Cobb Salad, Pasta with Meat Sauce, Soda
Approximate Price of Entrees: Cobb Salad $10; Pasta $11; Soda $2.50
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5

Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
Be Sure to Try: Cobb Salad and Pasta were great! The restaurant also has fried chicken and pot roast. We have had both on other visits and they are excellent, huge and can be shared.
General tips: There is seating inside and outside. We ate during the parade at a table on the raised patio right outside the dining room and we could see some of the parade. The restaurant was not crowded during the parade but as soon as it ended there was a huge line to get in.
TheMouseForLess tips: I ate the Cobb Salad and had the 2 kids share the
adult pasta. They have kids meals (pasta or fried chicken leg) but the kids pasta is pretty small. The Cobb is huge and I usually cannot finish it, take the rest to go and eat it as a snack later. We got 10% off with our Annual Pass. The sodas are refillable here!
Extra Comments: This is a favorite of ours. The Cobb Salads are tossed with bleu cheese dressing but if you ask they will prepare you one minus any ingredients you don't want and with your choice of dressing on the side. When you enter you get a tray and silverware and then proceed to the different stations (salads & desserts, pasta, chicken, pot roast, drinks) each with their own line so if you have more than 1 adult split up in the lines to save time. After you have all your selections, you go to one of the cashiers. There are
cashiers on the left and right so be sure to check who has a shorter line.

Where: Plaza Inn
When: October 19, 2005
What: Breakfast Buffet
Approximate Price of Entrees: It was included in our package, but
when we checked in I think the cashier said it would be $90 for the
four of us.
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 4
Service: 3/4 - they cleared dirty dishes in a timely manner but
it was a buffet so no "service" per se
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children: Oh yeah!
Okay for Couples: Yep! We had a great time!
Be Sure to Try: The buffet was great - we especially liked the omelet
station! Wide selection to choose from elsewhere.
General tips: We had PS which seems a must. We waited about 15 mins
after we got there before we were taken in to a table. There was a
long line of people waiting to get in, and this was at 10:00 in the
morning.
TheMouseForLess tips: Don't know - we had voucher from our
resort package
Extra Comments: We were hoping to see a lot of characters. But we
only saw Dale and Tigger. The others were there but they were
swamped with kids and we finally had to be on our way. The cast
members should have made the kids and parents go sit at their tables -
we could hardly get out because Fairy GodMother had at least 15
people around her in the aisle - a zoo!
Who: the6x
Where: Plaza Inn
When: July 5, 2005
What: Princess Breakfast
Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 3.5
Service: 5
Atmosphere:
Okay for Children: Most definately yes during the character meals
Okay for Couples: Yes.
Be Sure to Try: Made to order omelets
General tips: We were seated outside & enjoyed watching the characters and people watching on the outside of the restaurant
TheMouseForLess tips: Don't know any
Extra Comments: This particular character meal has plenty of characters, but families tend to chase them down, so they don't tend to get to your tables as easily. So you may need to go in search of, otherwise you may not see all the characters in attendance. This was our least favorite part, was not getting the characters to ourselves like at Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's Grotto Character Meals.
