Who: Judy NYC

Where: Garden View Lounge (special tea date)

When: 2/22/06

What: mid-day snack/light lunch

Approximate Price of Entrees: strawberries w/cream 6.95, 2 mrs potts tea 17.00 (I had a coke instead of the special dark tea "chocolate milk") (Total before DDE discount $25.20, after DDE Discount $28.41 with discount tax and tip) a savings of $4.79)
Before discount is without tip, after is with tip

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 5
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes (but it depends on the child, DD is old enough to sit quietly and enjoy quiet conversation)
Okay for Couples: Yes (this is a nice break from all the noise and heat of the park
Be Sure to Try: the mini deserts are great, I had the chocolate ˇclair and it was terrific. Also the strawberries with cream are great and are enough to share between two to three people.

General tips: Make sure to make a reservation, when we got there they were not taking walk-ups and were telling people they could take their names, but it would be 2 - 3 hours

TheMouseForLess tips: Use the DDE card here

Extra Comments: For those like myself that are not big on tea. To me tea is drinking Liptons and I do not drink that often either. I also was not sure if I would like some of the other adult oriented choices and asked if I could just get the same sandwiches as my DD and the waitress allowed me to order a Ms. Potts for myself and gave me a soda instead of chocolate milk. DD loved drinking "special dark tea" chocolate milk from the special tea pot. I plan to do this on my next trip when I go with both kids. DS loves tea and this would be a blast for him and DD had such a good time and it was nice to have some quiet time away from the craziness.

Who: The DiMella's (me)Angela 45 , (dh) Bob 48, (ds) Danny 19 (DD) Samantha 15

Where: GF / Garden View Room

When: July 2005

What: Tea

Approximate Price of Entrees: The prices here vary. Can be as cheap as $10 or as expensive as you want. For the 4 of us we spent around $90 with tip. But we were full when we left.

Rate the following (1-5, five being the best!)
Food: 6
Service: 5
Atmosphere: 5
Okay for Children: Yes
Okay for Couples: Yes
OK for Men : YES
Be Sure to Try: everything!! The food was great! Granted it was mainly desserts, but mmmm good!

General tips: You need an ADR for sure. It's small and packed!

TheMouseForLess tips: We used this as our meal for the day. We each got a different kind of tea, which is brought out in your own pot. This wa we "shared' our teas.

Extra Comments: This place is great!! We had a sampling of everything I think. The sandwiches were very good, the cookies, breads, cheeses, fruit, tarts, stawberries everything was great!! It's a must do for us now. And Men don't be afraid to go. There were men everywhere! We took our son 19, and had as good a time as us.
