Day 1 - July 31, 2004
Well, started going to airport and took Airtran, nice flight out, arriving right on time around 2:15, the limo driver (QuickSilver) was there waiting, great
service, stopped at Publix, very nice fast in and out got drinks and snacks for our week in Disney, got to Caribbean Beach, they were so nice even gave us our
request for a King Bed and Rollaway on a corner room right next to Port Royale in North Trinidad, NO EXTRA CHARGE, for the rollaway (normally king bed is $15
more a day and so is the rollaway $15 a day, we got it for nothing extra, off to a great start!!!) ;o)
Got to Magic Kingdom, took pictures right away of us standing in front of Cinderella Castle and arrived just in time for a special show with all the
characters and princesses singing and dancing, was WONDERFUL!!! (around 5:30 Saturday) and so glad we made those PS's too, we weren't sure we wanted to eat
at The Liberty Tavern Inn, but we checked out other places and for sit down, we decided to just do it, was great too, I didn't think I would like them bringing
the food to the table like they did, but was wonderful.....starts with salad and big rolls and butter, you get your choice of drink included too...., then dinner
was ham/turkey and beef and mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing and pea pods, so great!! and also, Stouffer's Mac and Cheese, a big bowl of it....then dessert
was apple crisp.....dinner was pricey, at $58 for us three (2 adults and my 5 year old Christy girl) and tip was $10 more.....so, pricey, but well, what
isn't for food in here really??? so, we also had to get Christy an Autograph book and pen, so we got her the cool one with the Princesses on it, and you can
include the pictures then, since we have that Princess breakfast on Monday at Norway...so, I figured get the one for that.....we did have Minnie Mouse sign it
and got good pictures at the Liberty Tavern with Chip and Dale and Pluto and Minnie Mouse......that was cool!!
Then also, found out best time to ride the rides were at night, we got into Haunted Mansion in 15 minutes, then onto Dumbo in about 20 minutes, rode the
Carousel, no wait at all, then marched right into Philharmonic Magic, this is new and 3-D, very very cool!!!, then hopped right onto the Peter Pan in Flight ride,
it was about a 10 minute wait, and this was right before 10:00 because they were closed as we were waiting....the Fireworks were starting after we got out, so we
saw some really good fireworks on our way out of the park...IT WAS SO CROWDED leaving the park....so many people, but only really waited for 2 buses to get
back here to Caribbean....it's quite a long drive to Magic Kingdom on the bus, but will be much closer when we do Epcot and MGM....so, we did stop quick and
got Christy one of those spinning Cinderella lights, she loves it too!! $14, but it's a souvenir and she'll like that, so first day has been rather
expensive, and it's probably not going to get cheaper, oh well......we are on vacation!! ;o)

Day 2 - August 1, 2004
Day 2 at Disney, we sort of slept in a little, it was like 8 or 8:30 before we got moving, but did get around and had breakfast in the room, just V-8 and donuts
and coffee, left a $3 tip for housekeeping hoping she would leave some extra coffee (normally I hear you buy it at the store, but figured I'd try and
see....) and then more soaps too because they are so cute. Got out and about, went and made sure we had a dinner PS and got one at 6:50 at the Crystal Palace
for dinner...... on to Animal Kingdom today.....really wanted to do that Safari Ride bad.....got there and boom, got right on the ride, we were like wowed!! Animal Kingdom was very quiet
today, there were people there, but no PS's needed for the shows and we saw Tarzan Rocks, and the Safari Ride was the absolute best, saw all the
animals....and got great pictures......, went to go on Dinosaur, but decided too much of a roller coaster so passed on that one, took Christy on a little flying
dino ride, then we went the It's a Bug's Life 3-D show, which was pretty darn good actually, but scared my 5 year old....she was not thrilled with that one at
all, favorite part was the little surprise at the end of the show......won't ruin your surprise okay!! ;o)
We ate lunch at the Flaming Tree in Africa at AK, very very good, only bought one meal for hubby and a kid's meal, and it was plenty to go around, spent $15
on lunch...... had to have an icy later on, so got one for $2.55 for Christy, and was pleased to find that we had no problem getting 2 cups of ice cubes for
the water bottle......they are great about that!!
Next, on to do some exploring, so went to the main bus gateway, and took a ride on the Monorail...that was thrilling and took it to the Contemporary, where
we got off and looked around...grabbed a boat then to Fort Wilderness for fun and looked around there....., the grabbed the bigger boat back to Magic Kingdom,
which was around 3:30 I think.....we got there and managed to do a couple rides, including Tiki Bird Show and hopped right on the Pirates of the Caribbean NO
WAIT at all, so hubby loves this one, so we had to go right away again, with no wait, it was raining a little outside and thunder started, so they shut down
almost all the rides.....but we managed to get into the Timekeeper and watch the show, then had to get to our dinner at the Crystal Palace.....LOVELY DINNER, was
tickled with the food and the Winnie Characters, all came to take a picture with Christy, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger and Eeyore and Piglet were all there....cost
$58 for dinner for all of us, it's all buffet style, but was so wonderful food wise, many choices for all....left a $10 tip of course...;o)
After dinner, we went on the Blue Line ride, which was great, like took you all over, just hopped right on that, (we went back over to Tomorrowland at MK)
then Christy really wanted to do the Indy Grand Prix ride, so we took her, that was an adventure, since I go to ride with her driving, quite jaunting!!! next,
did the Progress Show, same as I always remember it too...., then we snuck over to where the cups were spinning and rode Alice in Wonderland spinning cups (?)
....well, it was now 9:45 and the Wishes fireworks show was about to start, so went back to Main Street and tried to get where we could see straight down to
watch the show, IT'S SO MARVELOUS, makes you cry even to feel so privileged to watch the show.....I saw others with tears in their eyes after watching that
wonderful display/story.....it was really worth watching, I told my hubby I could watch that every night!!!
Well, got out of the park then and made it back to Caribbean on the 2nd busload, out of the park (it is very very crowded leaving the park after the
fireworks).....the buses are packed to the brim...and it's a pretty long drive too (not my favorite that's for sure!!) But we are back by around 11:00 and got
the girl a bath and dried her hair, tomorrow is her Princess Breakfast, so we are awful late for getting up early for that....;o( but we will....I have to
get to bed now too, so I can get up early....figured 6:30 am the alarm rings, we hurry and get around and catch bus to Epcot for the Norway Princess
Breakfast......

Tip for Maid: $3
Dinner: $58 Rewards Card $10 Cash Tip
