Barb Harris & Family - June 2006

Well we all had Thursday off from work so we decided to go to Epcot for the day. We got up early John our son took our dog out for her business then DH and I got ready. We decided to take our ponchos just in case so we packed them in the hippack and the water bottles to. By 8am we were ready to head out, so off we went. We first had to find a ATM machine to get some cash of course our bank one was broke so I said lets go to DTD they have one well guess what it was broke to so we stop at the Hess Gas Station and guess what it's broke to ok so we decide lets just go to the park and use the one there.

So we get to the park around 8:30am and yea we find the ATM and it's working. We find out where the cast member line is and we get in it to wait. Oh by the way I forgot we also had to go get wheel Chair for DH he's been working some really long hours at the MK and he's having some leg problmes so we decide he needs to be in a chair for the day. Dear son gets to push him. Well anyways the park finally opens and we head in 2 directions the guys head to Soarin and I head off to MS to get fast passes. I then head back to soarin and we ride it only a 40 min wait. We love this ride even better now that we started riding in front row. We then went an rode living with the land no wait with wheel chair you get put through the fastpass lane.

After we get off we all decide were hungry so we stop at the Fountain View and get a bite to eat. DH had the cocunut pie, son had the butterfinger cheesecake and I had the pecan cinnamon bun they were all very good. We then headed over to mission space, Son rode the orange side and DH and I rode the green, it was great I like the no spin a lot better I didn't get sick or anything this time, DH said it was ok to he likes the whole thing spin and all though. We then went into the shop and looked around found a trouble game we end up buying for us and my DGD she loves Stitch. We decide to get fast passes for tt and then head over to ellens attraction along the way we stop at one of the many flower and garden sets they have set up it was pretty cool. We go through the ride for ellen and then we head to Innoventions for a while still have an hour before tt can be done. Nothing really new in this side so we finish rather quickly. We took a few pics by the water fountain and then headed over to TT well guess what it's down again has been every time we come over here lately so we decided to head over to WS and have lunch, we stop in the butterfly area first though and take some pics.

We have decided to have different lunchs so we get DH set with his at Mexico and son and I walk over to Germany and get ours and bring it back to mexico. We eat and rest awhile then head off to walk around the world. We ride Normstrom and shop a little there had to get son rice cream he'd never had it and wanted to try it, he loved it. We then head off again we head to Germany and all make a bthroom break first then go shopping, didn't buy much here I got some rasberries candy for a friend and that was it. We of course stop at the train garden my DH is a train fanatic. Then we haed down to american pavillion where we decide to watch the attration here I love this one gives me chill bumps everytime. Then it's off to Japan where my 2 guys are lost for a while. They both love Japan and especially the drummers. We spend an hour or more here. After that we head to Morroco and have dinner at Tangerine cafe DH loves this it was ok but not my favorite. We watch Mo'rockin which I'm beginning to like them a lot, of course son loved the dancer. We then head down to france cause today I'm getting my parasal i've been wanting, got a blue one with Magwa put on it and just flowers and hearts. The name is what my DGD calls me for grandma don't have any idea where she came up with it but she did and it's stuck.

We then decide to go back to front and see if tt is back up yet no luck though it's still down and probably will be for the night. so we head to figment and ride it we tried to go to HISTA but they said we had to wait till 7pm for wheel chair people so we said no thanks. We decided to walk back to our spot for illuminations and get settled in and I went and got us funnel cakes and son got us drinks. We met some really nice people while waiting for the show, one family was a mother and daughter from MN and the other family was from Kentucky they had one the McDonalds thing where they got a free trip there. And then the CM who was monitoring the handcap area Jeff he was pretty nice to he has only been with disney 3wks and he does the boats, he says he loves it. DH and he really talked a lot he is coming over to MK to do parade on Mon. and so DH said he'd see him there cause he has parade to. Anyways we watched Illuminations and it was great of course and then we headed home and that was are day. We had a blast and the wether was really nice not to hot. and the crowds were really pleasant to. All in all we had a very nice time and a relaxing day.
