Barclay Family- December 2006

Well we are back from a very magical 8 day trip, taken the second week of December, to WDW. The highlights included seeing the space shuttle launch at night while in the Magic Kingdom on our first night, watching the main engine burn then seperate was spectacular. Later in the week I was picked to appear in the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular in MGM Studios. It was a bit intimidating being in costume on stage in front of 2000 plus people with Indiana himself, but the show went on without a glitch, and I was a star for 15 minutes. LOL! We also got picked as a select few to test view a new attraction in the Magic Kingdom called the Comedy Floor. It was a very funny show and we recieved unlimited Fast Passes for the attractions for our partcipation. The new Pirates of the Caribbean is awesome with the new Jack Sparrow and Davey Jones additions, and my son got picked to learn sword fighting with Jack Sparrow out in front of the ride, very cool. And the new power attraction in Animal Kingdom, Expidition Everest, roller coaster is the shizzle ! My father flew out from NM joining us for the trip and we were accompanied by a freind from church and his grandson. It was their first time ever to WDW and our 3rd, and of course they loved it. Being there during the holiday celebrations with all the decorations, shows and spectaculars, and attending Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom was truely a memorable experience. It even snowed on Main Street during the parade.
