Disney Fan- April (Easter) 2006

April 19 - 20, 2006

Day 5 - Epcot : We got there for park opening - got a birthday button while waited on line to enter. Once they let us go in, walked briskly to the Land area to find another rope there... Goofy came & once they let us go in we immediately got FP for Soaring for later... & waited on the line like for 5 mins. We rode it for the 1st time & it was wonderful!! Even my mom liked it!! After this we grabbed something to eat for breakfast while I waited for my time to get another FP - Test track's standby line was too long - 40 mins wait. We went to Honey, I shrunk the audience, circle of life, rode Soaring again. Had lunch at the Garden Grill - our favorite restaurant- at 12. Got a birthday card with their signatures & a candle on our dessert. Mom thought the food was better than the Castle! Before lunch I got a FP for Living with the land - Rode it after lunch, then journey into imagination with figment, Universe of Energy, used the FP we got in the morning for TT & walked over to the worldshowcase. Rode el Rio del tiempo without waiting, got FP for Maelstrom. walked around the world, shopped a little, came back to ride maelstrom. Rode Spaceship & left for the day around 5. It had been a long day without a break so we wanted to relax in the pool - but it started raining & thundering so they closed the pool - after dinner from the food court we went to bed early.

Day 6 - MGM: We were well rested! :) So once again we were ready for park opening at MGM; went to get a birthday button - wanted to collect one from each park, but it was the same MK gave me so I didn't wear it. Walked to another rope via Rocknroller coaster - didn't get a fp since I knew we were not riding it again. After we rode it we found mom waiting for us in a shaded bench - saw the long lines to get FPs & ride RnR & ToT (which we didn't do - I'm too chicken!). Got breakfast at the ABC Commissary, watched Little Mermaid; Indiana Jones; Light, Motor, Action; Muppets; Who wants to be a millionare, Beauty & the beast - then we had lunch/dinner at 3 at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Pkg - wanted to watch the parade, but we didn't get out on time - the food was excellent, but the service was kind of slow. After lunch we did the Backlot tour, the great movie ride, sounds dangerous & walked over to Fantasmic - I thought it was too early at 7! but there were lots & lots of people already seated!! After Fantasmic we left the parks to get some sleep.
