Disney Fan- April (Easter) 2006

** forgot to mention we got an towel animal in our room I think it was on day 4**

Day 7 - Animal Kingdom: I guess we heard Stitch so many times this week that we didn't get up for this wake up call! I opened my eyes at 7!! the time we were suppossed to be leaving... I guess my body needed that extra hour of sleep! Anyway... we left as soon as we could & although we didn't make it for the opening - we still did good time since it was NOT crowded yet. Got a bday pin; walked over for our 9 am Breakfastsaurus - I left mom & son there & went to get FP for Expedition Everest - didn't realize how long that walk was!!! Made it back, had breakfast - delicious breakfast! Rode Primeval Whirl & Tricera Top without any lines; got fp for Kali River rapids. We did It's tough to be a bug, since the 10:30 Lion King show was cancelled we caught some of the characters for pictures & waited for the 11:30 show. We rode Expedition Everest with the FP- it was great! I was expecting a drop something like Splash Mt but it wasn't - it was great!! My son was scared when the ride went backwards, he closed his eyes & missed the Yeti! He wanted to do it again, but I only had one more FP (my mom's) & to get another one the timeframe was for 5pm & we knew we were not going to be there... so we gave away mom's FP to a family whose wife didn't want to go on it & son was not tall enough, so the husband was going to try it alone. My mom dared to go onthe Kali River Rapids with the FP - we got wet, but our shoes were not wet so it was good... it was refreshing! :) Got a few other characters & left he park. Spent our last day in this hotel relaxing in the pool.

Day 8 - MK: We got there around 7:30 am since we had already done the tinkerbell thing we didn't need to rush today :) Walked onto Buzz 3 times! before moving on... Mom & son rode Mad Tea Party - I get too dizzy there! Rode Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, Dumbo & Peter Pan just because they had no lines at all! Son felt kind of weird riding "baby" rides... but we enjoyed them... specially without any lines! We did Haunted Mansion, Alladin & then it was almost 10 so we walked to Toontown... I guess the Easter crowd left because it seemed we had the park all for ourselves. We did Minnie's house, Mickey's house, got our pictures, checked out Donald's boat, rode the Barnstormer (with mom!) & then we got the railroad to main street. Got breakfast at the bakery & left the park since we had to check out & check in POP.

Checked out & drove over to POP - there was a long line to check in but we got a room immediately -didn't have to wait until 3pm! It was the 90's, but if we wanted any other era we would've had to wait... so I took it. It was very quiet. I noticed almost all the windows had cute towel animals. We spent some time in the pool & then we went over to Epcot to watch Illuminations.
