Sharon Hahn & Family - December 2006

Cast: Tom (36), Sharon (me - 33), Kendra (4.5), Renee (53) & Tom (54)

Day 3 - Monday, December 11th

Today Kendra woke up with a fever of 102. She rarely gets sick so when we have to give her medicine it's an ordeal. Tom drove to Walgreens to get some chewable Children's Motrin. After she was up for an hour she seemed to be ok. Her temp was breaking.

We went IOA.We got there about 10 am & it was so empty. FIL went to get w/c for MIL & was told it was a slow day. We were like it's still early. First we headed to Suess Landing. It is so colorful. It also was decorated for Christmas like Who Ville. We met Cat in the Hat & he was very cute. Then we did Cat in the hat ride, Carousuessal, 1 fish 2 fish red/blue fish, high in the sky trolley, comic stip lane, jurassic park ride, Camp Jurassic, & the discovery center. We did all this before we ate lunch.

We had chicken finger meals at the Burger Digs. Well we were surprised to learn the meals didn't come with a drink. (lunch for Kendra, Tom, & me was $30 & it was aweful)

After lunch we let Kendra play with the dinosaurs. Before leaving Suess Landing we went on all the rides again. (I forgot to mention we had NO Waits at All just got on & off every ride.Boy talk about a slow day!!) It was like we had the park to ourselves.

Just as we were leaving Suess Landing we meet the Grinch. Wow is all I can say. He was like the real thing. Kendra loves the Grinch & she asked where Max the dog was & he said "I had him put to sleep" "I mean I put him to bed, he's sleeping, uh oh uh uh" This was definatly meant for the adults to understand. He was very quick & definatly in character. Kendra also asked him for his autograph & he looked puzzled. He made a really sloppy "G". Then he whispered to her I didn't go to school to learn the rest. Im sorry" SHe hugged him & said I can teach you. I think the Grinch was surprised b/c most kids are scared of him. I thought she was sooo sweet.

Then we headed over to where the super heros are & did Spiderman 2X's. Finally we did some shopping & then headed on out by 3pm. Now back to the resort to rest. For dinner we went to Beaches & Cream. The onion rings were Fabulous!!!! Best I ever had. For dessert Tom, MIL, & I had No Way Jose & they were awesome. FIL had a milkshake & Kendra had an icecream with Mickey sprinkles. After dinner we went to DTD for a little shopping. We headed back to the resort 9pm.
