Sharon Hahn & Family - December 2006

Saturday, Day 1 - December 9th

This was my 1st flight in 12 years & DD's 1st ever. DH won't fly so he left Friday on AmTrack. We left the house at 6:20am & made a stop at WaWa for french vanilla cappuchinos & breakfast bagel sandwiches. PHI airport went very smooth & quick. Since there were no hold ups we were fairly early for our flight. Kendra loved watching the planes out the windows. Our AirTran flight left PHI at 9:10 am. We had a very smooth flight.

We arrived about 10 minutes early.We used Magic Express to get to ASMo.We arrived at ASMo at 1:30. I checked us in while everyone went to the foodcourt to grab a snack. Check in went very smooth. They went over all of my ADR's,gave me my room cards & check in packet. We had purchased the dining plan & 6 day park hopper tickets & MVMCP tickets. Our room was ready for us. We were in the Dalmation building room 1940 & 1941.We rested for about an hour & then freshened up.

We had ADR'S at 1900 PF for 5pm.We drove to the GF.The resort was beautiful. The gingerbread house & christmas tree were amazing. We checked in a few minutes early & were seated immediatley. The food was served buffet style. I was so excited for Kendra to meet the characters. The 1st to come to our table was Perla. She was very sweet with Kendra & also me. I was trying to get the picture of them so I scooted back in my chair b/c I was too close. Well,I scooted just a little too much & began falling backward. It was like slow motion. I knew what was going to happen & said I'm falling. This happened just as the waiter was bringing our drink order. He tried to break my fall but...I landed on my butt. (in my head I'm screaming Sharon don't drop the camera.) I never was so embarrassed. I know Perla must have been laughing her butt off. She tried to help me up.

After Perla left, the guys came back to the table with their plates filled. They missed my acrobats (thank God), but it didn't stay secret for long. We decided the girls better get their plates before any more characters showed up & so Kendra would eat. The food was delicious. I went up 2 times plus got this amazing bananas foster for dessert.MMMMM

After meeting all of the characters & stuffing ourselves we used the monorail to go to the MK. I was so anxious to see Kendra's face when she saw the Castle for the 1st time. The MK looked amazing with the Christmas decorations. Kendra stopped in the middle of Main Street & yelled "Mommy Daddy there's Cinderella's Castle!" (Oh my heart was melting.) We then went to Fantasy Land for some rides. We did the Carousel, IASW, teacups, Snow White's, Pooh, Peter Pan, & then Buzz.

Just as we got off Buzz the fireworks started. They were amazing.By then we all were ready to call it a nite. We took the monorail back to GF so we could get our car & went back to the ASMo. We were all asleep by 10:15.
