Tammy N. - September 2006

Who: Me (33) and DD (12)
Where: Pizzafari
When: 9/26/06

Back to the car but wait. THERE'S STANLEY! I asked Britnee if she would please take my picture with him, I like Stanley! She was so embarrassed. Said this is something a preschooler would want, but she took it anyway after I laid the I'm you Mother, I would do it for you trip on her :o)

Ok we parked in Unicorn 26, no car. I was so sure, this is not a problem we have in all the many many times we have went. It will be today. We walk and ah there it is, row 29! At least I had the Unicorn right.

On our way to Magic Kingdom. We are parked in Minnie 34, no problem, yeah right. We walked to the monorail and rode in the front with a couple and talked about Disney of course. Got off and entered the gates. I looked at Britnee and said we are finally here. We are not standing outside the gate looking in like a puppy (which we have done). Happy, happy, joy, joy!

First stop Main Street Cinema to turn in all out Quests and get all the ones WDW has to do. Got A LOT of cards to bring home plus 2 more bracelets. Next was Pirates of the Caribbean (walk on) to see the new changes and they are great. I made a comment that if they were to sell those life size audio animatronics of Johnny Depp in the gift shop, they would make a fortune! I see you raising your hand that you would buy one ;0)

We were going to watch the new pirate show with Capt Jack and had a Mickey ice cream sandwich while we waited. It started to rain. We rode Pirates again (walk on) and when we came out, the rain was gone. Britnee wanted to ride Splash Mountain but I always tell her no, I hate getting wet but I took her without telling her where we were going and she was thrilled. Splash (walk on) was good and I didn't even get wet. Then Big Thunder (walk on) was after that. We walked to Fantasyland and she wanted to ride Small World (walk on) so we did. I had hoped that with few people in the parks Peter Pan would have little wait like all the rest, nope, 40 minute wait. We then headed to Tomorrowland and did Stitch (walk on). There were about 10 people in the whole show including us. Britnee got a Stitch coloring book in the gift shop $4.80. It was raining again but not hard. The CM in the shop was yelling, buy your ponchos, it's raining. We walked out and headed toward the car.

Minnie 34, no car! No biggie I just went through this at Animal Kingdom, I am a couple of rows off. No I wasn't. I started to panic and praying to Jesus out loud. Britnee is telling me we are further back, no, we didn't park that far away. Our back window and 1 of the sides were busted out and my husband has sealed them with silver metal tape. My thought was, security saw the car, that it was abandoned and had it towed! I kept walking and walking. Britnee all the time saying it's back that way. I finally started walking back and low and behold guess what we found. the car! So I was wrong, upset, sick to my stomach from panic, and now praising Jesus out loud in the parking lot. Onto Epcot.

It's evening and there are a lot of empty space here and there where people have left so I find one up front. Journey 7. I repeated this to myself several times, I would not lose the car 3 times today! We go and 2 lines are open and both have long lines. I look to the left and it says Cast and Guest entrance with no one there. I walk over and go in that way while all the other people are standing in line. We head to Soarin'.

We have never rode this. This would be our first line of the day. It said 40 minutes but it was much longer than that. WOW! I have heard all these great things about this ride and I will agree with them all. This is so cool and had the line been shorter, we would have done it again. Time to eat. I loved the old Sunshine Season Food Fair in the Land, was one of my favorites, the chicken parmesan. I looked at the current offerings and there was nothing that we would eat. We walked towards the Electric Umbrella but it was not open. So we hopped the boat to cross the water and ended up eating in America.

Britnee wanted to browse the Hello Kitty store but since our last trip, it isn't Hello Kitty now, it's food. We looked through Japan's stores, then looked at one of the stores in Italy. Britnee wanted to ride Maelstrom so we headed there. The line said 5 minute wait but the line was out the door and not moving. We waited probably 20 minutes instead of the 5. She has always wanted to watch the movie but we always bypass it but I told her we would watch it this time. We hadn't sat down all day except when using the Disney transportation, moving the car from park to park, and sitting to eat which took about 15 each time. My feet, back, everything was in pain. In fact today is Friday and this is the first time I am not sore! We exited of course through the gift shop but this one I don't mind. I LOVE that perfume and always spray it on myself. One day, maybe I can afford to buy a bottle. We stopped in the bakery which was a first for us and it was very good.

As I mentioned, the Rice Cream came home with us. I had the CM put it into a soda cup with a lid and it fit perfect. So from here on, I had to be very careful with this. We rode El Rio de Tiempo and then came out to find no seating for Illuminations which I knew there would not be so us 3 (me, DD, and rice cream) stood and watched the fireworks. Got a little teary knowing my Disney day was over and I walked very slowly out of Epcot. The rice cream made it home in one piece even being bumped in the sardine stampede coming out of Epcot at closing.
