Amy & Family - June 2007

Who: There were 16 of us traveling, myself amy 33, DH Joey, 31, DD Hannah 7, DS Noah 3, BIL Jason 27, SIL Tara, 25, D niece Alexis 6, D Nephwe Hunter 3, Aunt, Kathy, Uncle Dennis, thier DD Katelyn 12, Cousin and wife Jeremy and Tamara, my SIL's Aunt Lynn and Uncle William and thier DD Victoria 12.

Day 4 - : Wednesday, June 9th, 2007

This was a great day!! We awoke early, had breakfast in the room and were off to MK today. We arrived and got through the turnstiles about 8:45. Watched the opening ceremony which was great!(It's hard to believe they do this every day!)and away we went!

We went first to fantasyland and headed for Peter Pan's flight. This was one of me and DH's favs in fantasyland. Then off to snow white, cindy's carousel and then to Mickey's Philharmagic. This was the greatest of any 3-d I've ever seen! I was like a kid reaching out to try to touch the effects. Loved it! Then we were off to frontierland!

We got FP's for BTM and got in line for splash. I was a little apprehensive on this ride due to the fact that I had my 3yr old beside me. He was plenty tall enough, but I didn't know how he would handle the drop. He had stood outside and watched all the people go down and said he wanted to ride in that log so off we went! Needless to say he loved it, wasn't scared at all! We bought the photo and you can't even see him because I was so afraid of him being scared I covered him up! It's too funny!

So then we decided to use our FP's for BTM, so we split up, Me, DH, DD, SIL, BIL, DN, and the older girls went with us to BTM, and the other four adults (parents of the older girls) took our DS's (3) to ride the train. So we got in line and rode, loved it! DD espically loved it and as we were getting off we were rushed out by a dream squad member!! She was saying hurry up and get up there you've won a dream magic hour! I was a bit confused as in all my reading I had never heard of a dream magic hour! They had already begun placing bracelets on us when I thought Oh NO! Our boys are not with us and the other adults what would we do?! So as I was explaning this they started pulling out braclets and gave us the extras we needed!! I just started jumping up and down and screaming (mainly due to the fact that I just won something - not that I really knew what it was) Jamie was the main Dream squad member and explained that we would have the park to ourselves with about 3-400 others, and that the rides would be walk on!! It was so cool!!! At that point we met up with the others to try to explain this really awesome prize we had won.

From there we headed to lunch which we chose cosmic rays, on our way there we met alice and the mad hatter and then had a cool relaxing lunch. Dh adn I had the rib and chicken combo! wow! Way to much food! I had my first veggies in 3 days i think!LOL! The kids had cheeseburgers and fries. Would have cost 57.83 love the dining plan!! Saved our choc cake for later could not hold any where near that much and DH and I are good eaters. Two could have easily shared the rib and ckn combo.

From there we walked around and took lots of pics and as we were coming around the castle they were just beginning the share a dream with Mickey show so we stopped to see that. Then it was close to 2pm so we went back to the room to rest before we went to supper.

We met back up at around 4pm to go to 1900 Park Fare for dinner. As soon as our bus took off I realized that I had forgotten my camera!! (I'm going to make a check list LOL!) So we decided my SIL would just take some pics until after dinner and then DH could run back to get it while we walked around MK. We had a great dinner, food was really good and had a good selection i thought. Then hopped on the monorail back to MK.

DH and DS went back to the room to get camera and the rest of us went back in MK. We shopped a bit and then went in and rode It's a small world. I nearly fell asleep. I don't really mean that bad, it's just the music and I had a full belly and anyway it was all I could do to stay awake. From there we went and walked around some more and then met up with DH and DS to get in line for Spectro. I went to get some drinks and popcorn for the kids and when I came back there was a CM by the name of Kenny playing with our kids. They were tossing a big ball around and having a great time. Then when it was time to close off the bridge into Liberty Square he let the kids stand up there and help direct traffic! They thought they were something. It was so great. He was so nice. So as we were talking to Kenny he asked my BIL how many were in his family. He said four in my family, but there are 8 of us here with my brother and his family. Then Kenny said that he had a spot for four in VIP seating for spectro if we wanted to sit there. After a little talking the guys decided for my SIL and me to take our girl and go. **MORE MAGIC** It was so neat! One of the CM's came over to us and said that we had the best seats in the house and that she wanted us to do one thing for her. When Captian Hook comes by to clapp our arms together like crocs for him like Tick tock. When he came buy we all as prompted made big croc arms and he shook his head and hook at us! It was priceless!!

After the parade we walked over a bit and got a spot for Wishes. I love this show. I was my favorite of all!! From there I think we went to Tomorrowland where our dream began, as it said on our braclets, and we got in line for Buzz. By that time the boys were getting a little cranky so the guys decided that they would take them back to the room and skip the magic hour. They were roping off a spot in tomorrowland and putting up a stage so we went over there. There were CM's handing out buttons that said walt disney world where my dream came true, so neat and then they gave us a special times guide telling us what all would be open.

We made our way over to the stage and out came a man who introduced himself as the captain of the dream squad and said that at 11:30 when they offically close the park that he would come back and offically reopen the park for us, with a little help from the big guy! Then a DJ came out and we had a dance party until then. It was great fun!

At 11:30 the captain came back out with Mickey and Minnie and reopened the park for us with confetti and fireworks! They were having a dance party there with special characters throughout the hour, but we decided to go straight to space mountain. From there we went to BTM and then Splash one last time. By then our hour was up, we really didn't seem to get a lot done, but time went by really quickly, and I really didn't care what we did, just getting to be there was great! We tried to take some pics on the way out, but mine did not come out to great.

We made our way out an almost deserted main street and as we passed under the train station there was Mickey, Minnie and the captain of the dream squad there saying goodbuy to us. **MAGIC** We got to our room around 1am and crashed! Tomorrow was supposed to be up early for MGM. LOL!!! Sorry this was so long, but it was a long day!! Thanks for reading if you still are!!LOL!!
