Day 7: Saturday, August 4, 2007
This was our last day at the parks. We got to Epcot by 9am. we rode Soarin first and then had breakfast at Sunshine Seasons in the Land. We had 2 breakfast plates with coffee and soda.
We went to the Seas and walked around the aquarium to see what we had missed the other day. Then we went to the camera center to get our AAA free 5x7 and then went back to the Poly for lunch.
We had the adult grilled cheese (ok) and the BBQ pork flatbread which was so yummy!!! Also sodas and a brownie and one of those chocolate chip thingees I love ($25.60 on dining plan)
After lunch we packed and then did the nap/pool and drinks routine. I also had a postcard I had bought for my best friend's kids who were coming next month. I wrote a message on it but wanted "official" signatures from Mickey and Minnie as I couldn't copy them so they looked "real". I asked at the front desk at concierge and they were very nice. They said Mickey and Minnie were out right now but they
would get the postcard signed and get it to me before we left tomorrow. They delivered it right to our room within a few hours and I was able to mail it off that day.
Then we went to MK. It has become a tradition for us to end our trip the last night at MK. We took the train to Frontierland and fastpassed BTMRR and then went to see the Hall of Presidents since it was so hot and we needed AC.
We rode BTMRR after and then shopped until dinner at 5:30 at Crystal Palace ($69.70 on dining plan with tax/tip). We saw all the characters. The buffet was good but not as good as I remember. However, the dessert part of the buffet rocks! It is the best in all of WDW we think!
After dinner we fastpassed Buzz and saw CofP and rode the TTA and then went on Buzz Lightyear. We called it an early night since we had a long drive home tomorrow and had already seen Wishes quite a bit this trip.
Tomorrow:Ohana's and leaving
