Day 6 - Friday, May 25, 2007
Got up at 12:30 pm and started to pack. Had to call Cindy to get my
centerpiece because she and Jeff took it to their hotel room for the night
(they were right upstairs in the Contemporary).
We had lunch at Roaring Forks and I went to get the centerpeice from Cindy
out int he driveway. Went back to the room and got June so we could head
over to Magic Kingdom.
We did a few rides at Magic Kingdom and then headed to the Grand Floridian
to meet Barbara for a drink and go back to Magic Kingdom so she could
introduce us to Tony. We took a ride on the Paddleboat and then went to
Clumbia House for something to eat. After that it was time to part once
again. We went to the hotel and packed up everything that was left to pack
and went to bed.
Day 7 - Saturday, May 26, 2007
We got up and called for Bell services to pick up our luggage then headed to
Whispering Canyon for breakfast. If you don't like rowdy don't eat here. The
waitress we had (Possum) came tot he table and threw napkins at us and said,
"these go under your drinks so you don't make a mess". We asked for straws
so she threw a handful on the table. During our meal the little girl at the
table behind us was celebrating her 7th birthday so they called he rup front
and gave her a hobby horse to ride around the restaurant and sing happy
birthday to herself to get a slice of birthday cake. She didn't want to so
they got her parents up to do it since someone said they didn't hear it the
parents were sent to the lobby to do the same thing over again. Someone
else had the audacity to ask for ketchup so they brought him 50 bottles and
told him he owed them $500 for the ketchup and should they put it on his
room or will that be cash.
After breakfast get on a bus June went to Animal Kingdom and I headed to DTD with John (need that shopping fix). We made a few purchases and headed back to the hotel.
We went to the pool bar for a drink and then waited for Roger from Sunray to
come get us. Got to the airport boarded our plane and came home.
Hope you enjoyed these trip reports if you have any questions feel free to
ask.
