Day Six November 11, 2007
Okay,so Saturday was a long day. But it is 7 am and Mickey and Stitch have
just called to wake us up. The little ones wouldn't even listen to the
phone and the big ones just rolled over and went back to sleep. I knew this
would happen, but I never sleep more than 4 hours so I'm raring to go.
Today we have breakfast with the Princesses.Kara gets ups and puts on her
Mulan costume and Zara decides today she is Cinderella (they both have a
costume for everyday, why wear normal clothes). We get on the bus and head
to Epcot once again (today is also the last day for F&W Fest).
Eric pushes me and we get to Norway first. He leaves me on the side to
watch for the rest of the gang while he goes and tells them we are here.
Right after the last one joins us we are called in. Eric hasn't done this
breakfast but the rest of us have. We order our beverages and everyone (but
me) runs off to get breakfast. Funny thing is everyone brought me back a
plate of food (like John wasn't going to take care of me). We have the
fruits and pastries while they are waiting on the egg platters and the
princesses. The princesses start arriving before the food and the little
ones go crazy (do you know how hard it is to get a child to eat when they
are about to meet Mulan?). We finish breakfast and we have to leave World
Showcase because it isn't open yet.
As we enter Future World the decidion is made to go to Soarin' again. When
we got off Soarin' we went on the Living With the Land ride and then headed
to World showcase (after all this is the last day!). The girls make their
masks while we enjoy the food and wine. Eric and John have to have a beer
together so we head to America.
Since we are doing the F&W we figure no sense in having any ADR for dinner
so we used counterservice today. I had the worst hamburger ever in Electric
Umbrella and they didn't have any tomatoes or lettuce out to put on it. The
kids went on Test Track and we all went on Joourney Into the Imagination.
John and I headed back to the room and the kids headed to MK for a little
while then off to DTD to do some shopping (after all, it's been a whole
day).
The kids get back to the room and they head off to Artist Pallette to ahve
a little something to eat.
Get the kids to bed tomorrow the rest of our gang shows up.
Day Seven November 12, 2007
We got up and went to DTD for the day. In the meantime, the rest of our
group arrived.
Holli and I took Kara and Zara to the Bibbiddi Bobbity Boutique to get hteir
hair done. Today was their special day. They both had on their Alice in
Wonderland dresses and couldn't wait to get done and go to the GF for the
Alice in Wonderland Tea Party. These two little ones admire each other so
much they even got the same hairstyle and makeup colors. June, Liz and Eric
showed up so June went to Zara and Eric took the wheelchair and "momma" for
a spin. We did some shopping then ate lunch. We went into the Pin Traders
and there was no way we were getting Eric out without spending some time
looking at the Stitch pins for Lizzy (the next day is her birthday).
The girls headed off to the Tea Party and then came back to the room. We
were just waiting for the right time to leave. The kids were so excited
this was going to be the very first time Zara spent at a party in WDW. Kara
was telling her all about the snow on Main Street and Zara kept telling her
it can't snow we're in Florida. The answer to this "no WE'RE IN
DISNEYWORLD".
AT about 3 we headed to the bus stop. We got on the bus to MK and the
excitement started. My three thirty year olds started singing Christmas
carols and then the little ones got crazy. We arrived at the MK about 4 in
time to get in to our dinner at LTT. When we arrived at MK our neighbors
Roy and Donna nd their daughter Courtney were waiting for us. We went in to
dinner and I don't know who was worse, June, Liz, Eric, Roy or John. They
really were enjoying themselves. At dinner I told the waitress it was
Lizzie's birthday and came desert time they brought her a cupcake with a
candle in it. (I forgot to tell you when we went to Akershus they gave her
birthday card with the signatures of all the Princesses). We finished
dinner and headed out to the park.
Now when you are in the MK and you have a 6 and 7 year old with you the very first ride you are going to do is "It's A Small World", so the kids went on
it(Donna and I sat inour wheelchairs and John and Roy hung out with us).
The next ride we did was Peter Pan's Flight. Courtney had never been on
this one so it was a whole new experience to her. Then off to Winnie the
Pooh and onto Tomorrowland. In Tomorrowland we did Buzz Lightyear and the
kids went off to Space Mountain. While they did Space Mountain we took the
two little ones on TTA. Another ride Zara never did. When the ride ended
they asked if they could stay on and go around again the CM had no problem
with that.
After awhile, we were getting tired and Roy and Donna were exhausted so the
grownups headed back. Funny thing was the kids did one more ride had cocoa
and cookies and came to the room to watch television. We did all get to see
the MVMCP parade before we left. And then the snow came.
We went to the store and picked up some bagels and milk for the kids and
half and half for our coffee and headed to the room for a well needed rest.
Seems this trip we weren't as organized as we usually are because we
backtracked too many times for our liking.
