Stephanie & Family - May 2007

Cast of characters: Gus (30ish), Stephanie (30ish), Brock (8), Jessica (4)

Day 6 - Wednesday, May 30th
AK and Epcot

Arrived at AK at opening and went straight for Everest and the line was so long, we fast passed and went to Dinoland where we did Primeval Whirl and TriceraTop Spin a couple of times.

Then, we all did Dinosaur! Too scary for Jessica but she didn't freak at all. She just said she didn't want to do it again!

We did Everest again then everyone but me did Kali River Rapids.

We booked it over to Epcot.

Brock and I did Mission Space and Gus grabbed us some fast passes for Test Track.

We did The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

Didn't wait the 30 minutes for Turtle Talk with Crush.

We moved over to World Showcase for lunch. We found no wait at noon for Rose and Crown but kept moving.

Jessica did meet and greets with Goofy, Chip N Dale, King Louie, Cinderella's Mice and Dopey.

$60 lunch at Alfredo's in Italy.

At Alfredo's they were out of pizza so Brock got plain spaghetti noodles. Jessica ordered chicken strips with mashed potatoes and ate mostly bread! I had a terrific salad with a house Balsamic Vinaigrette which I wish I had the recipe for! Gus had a shrimp pasta dish which he said was good.

After lunch, we visited Minnie's butterfly garden. The Minnie topiary is just awesome!

Then we all did Test Track, which was pretty cool.

We went back to Coronado for naps and pool!

Everyone was too pooped to head back out so Gus ran to McDonalds drive thru for dinner in the room!

$22 dinner in room from McDonalds on property,

Early to bed!

Day 7 - Thursday, May 31st
MK and heading home

EMK at MK…little did we know that only meant Fantasyland!

We RE did Peter Pans Flight and Snow White's Scary Adventures.

Then we shopped and took more photos.

Next we lined up for Frontierland!

As soon as we got in we booked it to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which they wouldn't let Jessica on. Gus and Brock did that.

Jessica and I headed to Splash Mountain and got on no problem! SAME height requirement as BTMRR! She loved it and we got pretty wet!

We met back up with the boys and Brock and I did BTMRR. After, we all went back to Splash Mountain and there was a different CM at the entrance and would not let Jessica on!!

She was so disappointed we went in the nearest gift shop for some chocolate consolation!

It is a shame they aren't more consistent with the height restrictions but at least she got to do Splash once!

We headed to Adventureland and did Magic Carpets of Aladdin which we spotted Jasmine on too.

Then we visited the Swiss Family Tree house.

We did Pirates of the Caribbean.

We all did Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square and although she wasn't real freaked, Jessica decided she would not want to do this again.

We then lunched at Liberty Tree Tavern. $60 lunch Brock, a huge pizza lover, did not like the pizza on the kids menu! Turns out the mac n cheese was good. I had a William Penn Pasta dish with chicken which was really good and too much for me to finish. Gus had the Pilgrim's Feast and said it was good but not great.

After lunch the children hit an ice cream stand so Brock could have a Mickey ice cream bar and then we checked out!

We caught the ferry boat to parking and started for home about 1:30pm.

Hit Savannah for dinner about 6:30. Earliest seating for Lady and Sons (Paula Dean) was 8:45!

$49 dinner at Carleone's in Savannah, GA
