Days 3 and 4

Slept in on tues. Not much planned for the day, except xmas party that night.

We took a bus to MK, then got on the monorail. Asked to sit up front. Never did that b/f. Had to wait a few times, and shared with another lady and DD. Rode to GF, saw the Gingerbread house. We bought ($5.00 for 2 pencils, OUCH)a couple of pencils in there shop b/c they had a pencil sharpener and would sharpen them for me. I forgot pencils and our sharpener, and homework is only to be done in pencil. Our resort and any other place I asked didn't have sharpeners.

Rode monorail back to contempory. shopped around at there shops, ate at the newer resturant/cafe etc. DD got the cheese pizza kids meal and I got the pepporni pizza kids meal. Again saved the water for our night at MK, saved the cookies for a snack later. And it only cost us $10.00. Got back on the monorail, off to MK for the xmas party.

Oh we bought xmas hats the night b/f at MK. they were 50% off. DD got the princess "santa" hat. and I got the minnie "santa" hat. DD bought us (she insisted) on buying the light up christmas mouse ears necklace. they blink, flash and stay on solid. Price on package said $9.??, but they only charged us $7.00. Our 1st necklace only 1/2 lit up, had to exchange it, not a problem.

Got our photopass pictures taken at entrance with our hats. They gave us another photopass card, good for only that night of pictures, anything you bought 40% off of pics. Good, but we did a photopass share with some other people and ordered the CD.

1st stop bypassed everything!!!! Off to see the fairies. It was our last MK this time and they were closing the night b/f so we missed them then. DD really wanted to see Fawn/Beck, the animal fairies. DD's mission. No Fawn/Beck but we saw Tink, Rosetta, and Irradessa. Wait was long, close to an hr. Waited in line to use the photopass photographers for the characters a lot and in front of the castle at night this night. (oh we saw snow white AND the prince the night b/f at MK, but NO photographer. the line was long, my camera sucks taking pics at night, so we didn't wait, but would have if they had photographer there). Saw Scrooge McDuck (donald just left). Saw chip/dale again. Waited in line for Stitch w/a xmas hat. Not thrilled about that. There was a line, which ws totally fine!! he took a "break" every 1/2hr. left and then came back, gone like 5-10min. which was fine!!! But they had us line up towards this corner which was a smoking corner!!!! 1st time, we waited 20min in this smoke, he took a break, we left (didn't know about the breaks at the time) we would come back. DD wanted to see him and get pic/autograph. so came back and line was even longer (my fault for leaving), but slow line in the smoking section. Made me sick. And I smelled smoke on me all night. Why, I ask to they line you up in the smoking section???? Disney is mostly non smoking other than a few designated areas, then they line you up to see a character in the smoking area.Doesn't make much sense to me. I asked the CM, why can't we line up the other way, he shrugs his shoulders, looks at me weird, and walks off. NO answer.

Sort of saw the fireworks. Still learning to naviagate the park. when to go to main st. went the wrong way, got in this HUGE mass of people and cuoldn't move. so we sort of saw them though the trees. HUGE amount of people tonight. Waits for rides not horrible, except Dumbo, we rode that 1st time. rode Winnie the Pooh, 1st time. Mad Tea Party again. Got to the top of line in SM, DD had melt down didn't want to ride it. WHY??? don't know other than she was tired and wanted to be difficult. Saw Mickey/Minnie xmas show and this lady mid-30's kept kicking me. she sat behind me, and kept putting her foot on the bleacher seat and kept kicking me. I asked her twice (after turning around 2 times b/f) to stop. Finally I asked if she was having a medical problem tongiht that she had to keep "accidently" kicking me and if she wasn't would she please keep her foot down. Show was good.

There were MASSIVE amounts of people tongiht, and ALL week for that matter. More than any other time I've been to Disney. Found that the week we went was supposed to be an "off" week. But it wasn't!!! Tried to see the parade, got a spot early, the only spot we could find. They then booted us out and a couple of other people b/c we were where they put up the posts/ropes. Well the other couple they booted off, came back started talking to the same CM and they stayed!!! and more people blocked the rope section they just booted us from. I at times wish I was more assertive and not such a "rule" follower. b/c we didn't find any spot. the ones we did sucked, DD couldn't see. and too many people for our comport level. not to mention I was terrified I would loose DD in the crowds. Too much tension/stress for me.

Left MK very late. Again the buses, coming back were horrible. going was great, we didn't share. But why coming back, when it's so busy we shared? And again lined up at the movies platform. people were at the music and sports platform. Buses even said ALLSTARs Movies, etc. but we stopped at all 3, and hardly anyone was left after the 1st 2 stops b/f movies. We waited really, really long that night. Had to wait till the 3rd bus. Like going to the parks on the buses, coming home I liked not driving, but the wait for them, and standing on them after a long tiring day, not sure if it was worth it.

AK on Wed. not as early as I wanted b/c tues was so late. Got to see what we wanted. Lion King Live show was GREAT!!! our favorite!!! rode the train, 1st time, CM was from Pitts, our area (2hrs away) gave DD a train card and sat up front in conductors seat to take pic. was nice. saw the parade, got a GREAT spot there, lucked out. Saw a bunch of characters/autographs, pics. Although Timon was at just b/f entrance gate, NO photopass photographer. in front of tree there was one. Lion King, DD all time favorite. wished they had one then. none for Terk there as well. Couldn't get DD to stand in line b/c long, and no photographer. Did some shopping. We ate at Pizzafari, DD I think got chicken nuggets kids meal this time/fries, cookie, water. I got pep pizza kids meal,applesauce, cookie, water. Again saved the water/cookies for later. Found the kids meal works out best for us. It's enough food for us, it doesn't break the bank, and we use the water for around the parks, and cookies for a pick me up snack later. Rode Kil Safari, again a favorite, line was about 30min wait.Told you we rode the train to the conservaion station, kind of cool. lots of different characters... Jimmy Cricket, Pocahotas, and can't remember the 3rd one, Terk again i think. But NO photopass photographer. Very disappointed at that. I hate my camera, we bought the disc, wnated to use that. So we didn't want in the lines. wished we did so DD would of had the autographs, but she didn't want to.

On the early side tonight. it was EMH evening that night. But DD wouldn't ride EEor dinosaur. I didn't want to ride Kali rapids. so we left. got dinner at our food court took it back to room and in bed sleeping by 9:30pm.
