I went to DL and DCA solo (Me, Ann-38) which I have a Deluxe AP that expires next month. It was very hot and sunny and was quite crowded at both parks!

I went to just first service at a church in Diamond Bar and then I took a few busses from there, which took about 4 hours and arrived at 12:30pm which was a relief!

I first went inside DL and first thing was walking to Stand-by line at Finding Nemo ride. It was the only ride I was looking forward to going since I've never been there yet. Early in the wait someone needed medical treatment which I guess was heat exhaustion since there isn't much shade and was very hot outside! I finally got in the sub which wasn't changed inside (I wish seating was bigger!). The ride was very cute and something to learn about the traveling underwater.

Then I walked to the bakery for an iced mocha, large 16 oz. size which was $4.30 less AP discount; very good but too much ice and next time I'll ask for little whipped cream.

I walked to the only ride at DL that has single rider option Splash Mountain! The wait was only a few mintes and I sat behind a party of four. AT the beginning, one man splashed another man in front and he splashed back and got little of me! I didn't get too wet the whole ride. I then walked back in Main Street on my way out and went inside First 50 Years w/ Steve Martin and Donald Duck. There isn't alot of people there but there was air conditoning.

It was around 3pm and went inside DCA and first thing was looking at a store on left side next to the entrance. I then went to the only ride which is a single rider option Soarin' I had time to go on. I waited w/ the Fast Pass Return line together which was about 1/2 hour. One young lady complained to me that she saw some people cutting in and it sounded like she was blaming me for it! Oh well. I finally got there, I sat in the front row on the right side. It still gives me the chills and my favorite ride there.

I only had an hour to spend so I went to look at a toy store on the other side and I saw a 2nd version of Theme Park version of Monopoly I want to get for myself and my DS some time!

I left DCA to the World of Disney store and bought the Theme Park editon of Uno and blue earrings which I paid full price :(.

I left the resort around 4:45 to take the busses home and I finally arrived at Pomona where I was staying for the weekend at 8:30pm.

I couldn't wait to get home because my head was hurting alot after leaving the Soarin' ride.

Overall I had a pretty good time, hope to go once again on a weekday soon before my AP expires next month.
