Hurricane Season: Late August thru September

Temperature Trends: Late November to mid-February becomes unpredictable at WDW. There is a 50% chance that temperatures will drop below the mid-seventies, and high temperatures can dip well into the sixties, fifties and below during brief periods. Beginning in May and continuing thru September highs are almost always nineties and above. March, April and October are almost always in the mid-seventies to high eighties range. For more information on Orlando weather, click here.

Rainy Season: begins mid-May and continues thru September. For ideas and tips on what to do at Walt Disney World during rainy days, click here.

Lowest Prices for the 2009 Year: 1/1 - 2/12 (all resorts), 7/19 - 9/30 (deluxe resorts) 8/15 - 9/30 (value & moderate resorts), and 11/28 - 12/16 (all resorts). For current resort pricing, click here.

Lowest Prices for the 2010 Year: 1/3 - 2/11 (all resorts), 7/18 - 9/30 (deluxe resorts) 8/9 - 9/30 (value & moderate resorts), and 11/29 - 12/17 (all resorts). For current resort pricing, click here.

Wait Times: Average 90 minutes or more for popular rides during peak crowd times and 20 minutes or less during low crowd times. For information on how to handle long wait times, visit our FastPass Page.

Peak Time for Ride & Attraction Refurbishment: January & February see the most ride and pool closures with many attractions operating on alternate days or closed seasonally. For information on current closures and rehabs, click here.

Best time to Go: Don't underestimate the impact crowds and extreme hot temperatures can have on your vacation. All things considered, Early December is probably the best time to visit Walt Disney World. Crowds are low, prices are great, there is no chance of a hurricane disrupting your trip, temperatures are tolerable, and the parks are all decked out in their Christmas finery with special parties in the Magic Kingdom and holiday events in all parks and Downtown Disney. The only two drawbacks to visiting at this time of year are that it may be too cold to swim and children will have to be taken out of school.

CROWDS BY THE DAY

Information on the busiest and least busiest days for each park is very subjective as crowd levels can be impacted by many factors, including holidays, EMH, special events and parties, weather conditions, etc. The information below was compiled partly from Disney's Official Web Site and partly by taking a "median" consensus of what other Disney experts have to say. While these predictions are probable, they may not always be the case.
