Walt Disney World Marathon
January 7 - 10, 2010
The Walt Disney World Marathon is annual 26.2-mile adventure races through all four Disney theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom. The event has a half marathon, three-day health expo and a 5K on its agenda.

Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend

Mirror, mirror, reveal the One. Show me the Princess who has the strength to run. Join your fellow princesses in a royal quest that will take you through 13.1 miles of the Walt Disney World Resort. Beginning in 2009, this event will be hosted by Disney Hollywood Studios. On four magical spring nights, this once-in-a-lifetime celebration will take place, full of top-name musical performers, thrilling Theme Park attractions, Disney Characters, high-energy dance floors, and special times with lifelong friends! World Drive between Buena Vista Drive and Osceola Parkway will be closed to all traffic in both directions from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. for evening fireworks. Star Wars Weekends

Each summer, Disney's Hollywood Studios turns into a giant Star Wars fan-fest. There are up-close meet-and-greets for Walt Disney World guests with your favorite Star Wars characters and actors from the film series as well as interactive games, parades, music and fun for the whole family.

You'll be dancing to classic Rock 'n' Roll hits under the skies of Epcot's open-air American Gardens Theater! An annual celebration, this year held at Disney's Hollywood Studios for the first time, will feature top contemporary Christian music performers. The long-running series has played to a combined audience in excess of 650,000.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 13K (and 5K)
October 24, 2009
A nighttime run through the deserted streets of Disney's Hollywood Studios that ends in the shadows of the Hollywood Tower Hotel (11-14 yrs.). The event is complete with live entertainment, a themed “after party”, clues along the journey and exclusive Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 13K finishers' medal (with moving elevator!). Haunted Pirates Cruise

Children ages 5-12 will travel aboard a "Haunted Pirate Ship" visiting the "Haunted Island" (marinas). Children will hear Halloween Ghost Stories and play games along the way. The ride will depart from the Polynesian resort marina.
Haunted Carriage Ride

The Haunted Carriage Ride is a 25 minute narrated ride through the dark woods of Fort Wilderness and along the shore of Bay Lake. This ride will offer visuals and sounds from the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" as your driver narrate the story for you. The ride depart from Crockett's Tavern.
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

Festival of the Masters

More than 150 award-winning artists from across the country showcase their wares throughout Downtown Disney, including painters, photographers, sculptors and jewelry designers and more. The three-day festival features chalk artists, House of Blues folk artists, a jazz festival, culinary delights and family activities. Festival hours are 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday & Saturday, and 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission and parking are free.
Old Spice Classic

Eight of the nation’s top NCAA men’s basketball teams, including 2009 NCAA tournament participants Florida State, Marquette, Michigan and Xavier, will compete at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex Thanksgiving weekend for 12 games over three days. Pop Warner Super Bowl

The nation’s top youth football teams and players will converge on Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex for the 53rd Pop Warner Super Bowl this December. The event will mark the 15th year held at Walt Disney World Resort, involving more than 60 teams. To reach the Pop Warner Super Bowl, teams nationwide battle local and regional tournaments throughout the year. Teams compete at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in four divisions based on size and age: Jr. Pee Wee (ages 8-10), Pee Wee (9-11 yrs.), Jr. Midget (10-12 yrs.) and Midget (11-14 yrs.).
