Universal Orlando Resort continues to redefine themed entertainment. They continue to raise the bar through innovation, unimaginable storytelling and game-changing technology.
On May 22, 2025, the Universal Orlando Resort will unveil Universal Epic Universe. Epic Universe will present a level of theme park immersion that is unmatched. This new theme park experience will transport Guests to expansive worlds. The park will feature more than 50 awe-inspiring attraction, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences that come together to create an unforgettable adventure that is nothing short of epic.
The addition of Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park will also transform the award-winning resort into a weeklong vacation destination filled with even more compelling experiences.
Universal Epic Universe will be an experience like no other when it debuts in May 2025. Here’s what we know:

Universal Epic Universe will be divided into five different sections. Attractions and shows can be found throughout the park. Epic Universe invites Guests to explore these vibrant worlds filled with extraordinary and culturally relevant adventures that go beyond their wildest imaginations.
Select multi-day tickets and packages will go on sale October 22. These include:
- A variety of multi-day tickets and vacation packages. These include three, four or five days of admission to Universal’s theme parks – including one day admission to Epic Universe. These products will go on sale on Tuesday, October 22.
- Annual Passholders have the exclusive opportunity to purchase single-day tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Passholders can take advantage of this priority opportunity beginning Thursday, October 24.
- In addition, at that time, bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will also be made available. Universal Helios Grand Hotel is a majestic 500-room property. It will offer one-of-a-kind views of the park. Plus it will include its very own dedicated entrance into Epic Universe for hotel guests! How cool is that? And based on the info that was released earlier this year about this new hotel, it looks incredible.

Celestial Park
At the heart of Universal Epic Universe and the first world that Guests will encounter is Celestial Park. With acres of rolling gardens, chasing waterways and strolling pathways, Celestial Park will put the “park” back in “theme park.” Universal Orlando revealed even more detail about the wonders to enjoy while exploring this world. Celestial Park will also be the gateway to explore the four additional worlds of Epic Universe through a set of majestic portals.

Attractions
- Stardust Racers – located in Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe – is a dual-launch racing coaster that sends guests rocketing through the skies aboard comets in a race to see who’s the fastest of them all. Reaching speeds up to 62 mph and heights up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track, Stardust Racers will be Epic Universe’s most thrilling coaster experience with unique maneuvers such as the “Celestial Spin,” in which the two coaster vehicles perform an inverted crisscross while speeding through the air – creating an “out-of-this-world” adrenaline rush.
- Constellation Carousel – the grand centerpiece of Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe. Here, explorers of all ages will take a fantastical whirl aboard constellations that glide forward, backward – and even make 360-degree rotations – through the milky way in a choreographed dance of music and starlight.

- Atlantic – a full-service “surf and turf” restaurant set inside a Victorian aquarium complete with captivating views of Celestial Park.
- The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant – where diners take a culinary journey across Asia as they enjoy authentic Chinese, Japanese and Thai fare in this full-service restaurant accented with neon dragons and ethereal lanterns.

- Nintendo Super Star Store – where guests can shop an assortment of merchandise themed to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic is where Guests will discover a different era of the wizarding world. This will be an all-new land that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is set in wizarding Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films AND the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter film series.The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic includes fantastical dining, whimsical retail, spellbinding entertainment and the most ambitious, groundbreaking ride Universal has ever created.

- Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry – With its unique combination of massive environments, powerful storytelling and first-of-its-kind ride technology, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry builds upon the historic theme park innovation Universal is known for. Oh and it will be one of its most impressive attractions to date. The adventure begins when guests travel by Métro-Floo – a unique mode of wizarding transit inspired by the iconic Floo Network seen in the films – to journey from wizarding Paris to the British Ministry of Magic for the long-awaited trial of the infamous Dolores Umbridge. When Guests arrive, they will enter the Ministry’s just incredible, jaw-dropping grand atrium. From there, they will get to experience other departments before boarding magical, omnidirectional lifts to watch the trial take place. That is until Umbridge attempts to escape. Guests then join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and a house-elf named Higgledy in a thrilling chase. This adventure will propel them up, down, forward, backward, sideways and more throughout the Ministry as they try to capture Umbridge. Oh and this will all be while dodging attacks from Death Eaters, rampaging creatures and more along the way.
- Le Cirque Arcanus – For the first time ever in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, guests will enjoy a live, full-scale theatre experience in the heart of the land with Le Cirque Arcanus. This spectacular show features live performers and aerialists, amazing puppetry, brilliant special effects and more. The show will take guests on a whirlwind journey where they’ll encounter fantastic beasts like never before. The show follows Ringmaster Skender. He has stolen Newt Scamander’s suitcase – where Demiguise, Diricawl, Mooncalves and more reside. His goal is to try and bring the failing Le Cirque Arcanus back to its former glory. It’s then up to circus employee Gwenlyn to rescue these creatures before they end up in Skender’s greedy hands forever.
- Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique – Guests can shop some of the world’s finest wands designed by esteemed artisan wandmaker, Cosme Acajor, in the premier Parisian wand shop, Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. In addition to popular imports from Ollivanders, visitors will find a selection of exquisite wands packaged in unique three-sided boxes – each containing a list of locations throughout the wizarding world where guests can practice casting spells.
- Inspiring Wand Magic – As guests explore the streets of wizarding Paris, they can use their interactive wands to create magical experiences. They will be able to cast spells at various locations, interact with fantastic beasts such as Nifflers, Bowtruckles and a Demiguise, and engage with enchanted objects in many of the storefront windows plus other areas throughout the marvelous Place Cachée.
- Captivating Entertainment – While exploring the streets of Place Cachée, Guests will also encounter others from the wizarding world. These will include exchange students from the Hogwarts and Ilvermorny Schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There will also be an Auror from the Ministère des Affaires Magiques de la France who roams inquiring of suspicious characters. Guests will even find talking portraits of wizards who engage with locals about the happenings in Place Cachée, and more.
Restaurants
- Café L’Air De La Sirène – A wonder of French architecture adorned with fabulous carved marble and details of fantastic beasts hidden in the tile and mosaic designs. Café L’air De La Sirène is a charming café where Guests can delight in French sandwiches, plats du jour and desserts.
- Le Gobelet Noir – In the shadowy corners of Place Cachée is a mysterious timeworn auberge, where international Dark witches and wizards gather to escape the prying eyes of the Paris Ministry and have a hearty meal over hushed conversation. Menu offerings include starters such as soups and salads as well as a variety of entrées and desserts.
- Bar Moonshine – American witches and wizards can enjoy a taste of home at Bar Moonshine. Here they’ll find exclusive beers, wines and cocktails served amid U.S. Quidditch team pennants and other items of wizarding Americana.
- Bièraubeurre Cart – No visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is complete without Butterbeer! Guests can stop by the Bièraubeurre cart during their visit to Place Cachée where they can grab a delicious mug of the fan-favorite beverage.
Shopping
- Guests can also shop for wizarding gear and memorabilia in Les Galeries Mirifiques. They can also satisfy their sweet tooth at the French confectionary shop, K. Rammelle. Or they can make a stop for Ministry of Magic-inspired items at the Métro-Floo gift shop, Tour En Floo.
Super Nintendo World
Super Nintendo World is where Guests will have the opportunity to enter into the world of those iconic green pipes! Here they will discover a new way to play. Guests will step into the worlds of beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong.
There will be two separate areas of Super Nintendo World – Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country.
Super Mario World Attractions
- Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge: Guests are invited to join Team Mario and battle Team Bowser for the Golden Cup in this attraction that fuses augmented reality, projection mapping technology and elaborate environments. It will bring the fun of the Mario Kart video game series to life in a compelling ride-through experience. Guests will enter through Bowser’s Castle. They will then wind through its corridors and get a glimpse of Bowser’s deceptive plans to stack the odds in his favor. They’ll then board their kart and head to the starting line. Guests will be able to steer through a variety of Mario Kart courses during their experience. The goal is to collect coins, toss shells at Team Bowser, dodge obstacles, and more with the goal of helping Team Mario win the race.
- Yoshi’s Adventure: This looks like a great attraction for the whole family! The delightful Yoshi’s Adventure attraction will make its U.S. debut when Super Nintendo World opens at Universal Epic Universe. On this family-friendly ride, Guests of all ages will enjoy incredible views of Super Mario Land as they join various Yoshis and travel through Mushroom Kingdom landscapes in search of glowing eggs. And yes, Guests will encounter many familiar characters along the way.
Super Mario World Restaurants
- Toadstool Cafe: At Toadstool Cafe, guests can enjoy a variety of tasty dishes inspired by the world of Super Mario and its characters. These will include Mario and Luigi-themed burgers, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs and so much more. Not gonna lie, all of this sounds great! Guests will also get glimpses of several Toads cooking up culinary creations through various virtual windows as they dine inside the restaurant.
- Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats: Guests can also pick up delicious treats, snacks and beverages at these walk-up dining locations.
Super Mario World Shopping
- 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors: Guests can shop for souvenirs, apparel, toys and more inspired by their favorite Super Mario characters and adventures within these retail locations.
Donkey Kong Country Attractions
- Mine-Cart Madness: Guests will hop into a mine cart and careen through the jungle to help Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong protect the coveted golden banana on this first-of-its-kind family coaster. Utilizing an unprecedented ride system, innovative technology and a unique coaster design, Mine-Cart Madness will send riders on a thrilling adventure where they will experience the jaw-dropping maneuvers that they’ve seen Donkey Kong and the mine carts perform in the video games. This will include getting blasted out of a barrel, seemingly jumping over gaps as they speed along a rickety track, and so much more.
Donkey Kong Country Restaurants & Shopping
- Dining and Shopping: A selection of tropical menu and merchandise offerings in the middle of the jungle. They will all be inspired by the Donkey Kong Country video game franchise and its characters. More details will be shared soon!

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
In How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Guests can soar with dragons in a colorful world filled with Viking adventures. This land is based on the wildly popular “How to Train Your Dragon” film franchise.
Attractions
- Hiccup’s Wing Gliders – From Hiccup’s workshop comes his latest contraption: a winged flying machine that launches aspiring Dragon Riders into the air. Guests will soar and encountering Hiccup and Toothless along the way. Hiccup’s Wing Gliders will be a fun coaster that invites Vikings to prove they’re brave enough to speed through the sky with dragons. This ride will have a Minimum Height of 40” (102 cm).
- The Untrainable Dragon – This stage show is going to be a Dragon-Studded Live Spectacular. When a new dragon shows up on the Isle of Berk, the Vikings think they may have finally met their match. Hiccup and Toothless, with help from Gobber and Astrid, work together to solve the mystery of The Untrainable Dragon. Experience the wonder of dragons onstage and soaring overhead in this spectacular, music-filled, heart-warming live show. What’s really cool is that in this show, Toothless soars above the audience, weighing in at 1,157 pounds, with a wingspan of nearly 27 feet.
- Dragon Racer’s Rally – With this ride, Guests will train to be a Champion Dragon Racer. The sport of dragon racing is a celebrated pastime on the Isle of Berk. At Dragon Racer’s Rally, visitors can practice aerobatic maneuvers and high-speed barrel rolls on a Viking-made dragon riding trainer. You’ll need these high-flying, gravity-defying, swooping and soaring skills if you hope to become a champion dragon racer. This Viking-made dragon-riding trainer will twist and turn you through the air at every possible angle. The Minimum Height is 48″ (122 cm).
- Fyre Drill – Get ready to get soaked! With fire-breathing dragons everywhere, villagers have to be prepared. Viking twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut have transformed Berk’s Fyre Skööl into a watery, interactive boat battle at sea. Board your ship in Fyre Drill and blast your water cannons at flame-like targets – and the occupants of every other boat – to out-soak other Vikings.
- Viking Training Camp – At Viking Training Camp, young Vikings will discover all types of dragons in this interactive play area. Adventures include multiple towers to climb and explore, a fun agility course, Viking drums and chimes to play, an interactive sheep launcher game, plus slides and activities for the youngest Vikings.
- Meet Your Favorite Characters – In How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, you’ll be able to visit the Haddock Paddock and meet Hiccup and Toothless. You may meet Astrid with Stormfly, and other favorite Vikings and dragons around Berk. You might even catch dragons flying high overhead.

- Mead Hall – Want to eat and drink like a Viking? This is the place! Mead Hall is Berk’s main gathering hall where Vikings feast on a hearty menu including meat, fish, sandwiches and desserts. Beverages include assorted meads, ciders and ales.

Dark Universe
Universal Orlando Resort is well known for its connection to the horror genre, with Halloween Horror Nights front and center stage in September and October each year. At Universal Epic Universe, there will be a land that is specifically geared towards the fans of the dark and spooky. Dark Universe will be where Guests encounter everything from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery.
Attractions
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment: This state-of-the-art dark ride takes guests deep into the catacombs of Frankenstein Manor, where Dr. Victoria Frankenstein conducts her twisted experiments. She invites guests into her laboratory to witness a demonstration of her ability to control monsters – but her plans go awry when her attempts to control the most dangerous of monsters, Dracula, fails. This then unleashes a horde of enraged monsters. Guests are then thrust into an intense ride through the darkness as they try to evade the grasps of The Wolf Man, The Mummy, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, the Brides of Dracula and others.
- Curse of the Werewolf: Deep in the woods that sit on the edge of Darkmoor, Guests will find Curse of the Werewolf. This will be a spinning family coaster inspired by “The Wolf Man.” Guests will enter the encampment of The Guild of Mystics where they’ll be greeted by the Maleva, the guild’s all-knowing seer and leader, who warns them that they bear the mark of the werewolf. Guests then board a wagon and venture into the forest. The goal is to escape the werewolves before they become one themselves.
- Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience: Guests of all ages can become fashionably monstrous as they don elaborate face paint and temporary tattoos at Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience. Here, monster makers have converted Dr. Pretorius’ infamous old lab into a parlor. Their goal is to continue the spirit of his demented experiments. Skilled artisans will be able to use their talents to transform Guests’ outer appearances. This is all done so they can showcase their fandom of Universal Monsters.
- Meet the Monsters: Monsters here are eager to meet and greet everyone. This includes Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s Monster and the Bride of Frankenstein. Guests will also encounter other unusual inhabitants roaming the village, including Victoria Frankenstein’s servant, Ygor, The Invisible Man, an eccentric monster hunter, and a talented musician who regales Guests with songs and tales of the classic Universal Monsters stories.
Restaurants
- Das Stakehaus: This establishment is a dining hall run by vampire “familiars”. They are sizing up unsuspecting patrons to be part of the vampires’ feast. This restaurant includes artwork and artifacts detailing the history of the village’s creatures of the night. Guests dining here can enjoy a menu of kebabs, burgers, sandwiches and more.
- The Burning Blade Tavern: Despite the blades of the windmill still smoldering and flaming periodically, Darkmoor’s monster hunters have transformed this old fiery mill into their favorite hangout. Guests will be able to enjoy a menu of burgers, wings, bratwurst, pretzels and specialty beverages. They will also hear stories of the infamous “Hounds”. These are boastful hunters from beyond Darkmoor. Oh and did we mention you’d be surrounded by a display of the monster heads they consider their “trophies.”
- De Lacey’s Cottage: Near Frankenstein Manor sits De Lacey’s Cottage food stand. This is where the original Frankenstein’s Monster once received sustenance. Here, guests can find a variety of snacks and cool treats like cinnamon bread, ice cream, twisted taters and more.

Adding to the experience at Epic Universe will be three new Universal Resort hotels. These will include sister properties, Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort. There will also be the majestic Universal Helios Grand Hotel – which is located inside of the theme park.

A spectacular world of celestial patterns and dazzling constellations – complete with 500 guest rooms, one-of-a-kind views of Epic Universe and its very own dedicated entrance into the theme park. Opening in 2025.
Universal Stella Nova Resort
A tranquil space with 750 guest rooms inspired by the infinite vastness of the unknown universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars. Featuring tranquil accommodations, Universal Stella Nova Resort is inspired by distant galaxies, new stars and mysterious black holes. Opening January 21, 2025.
Universal Terra Luna Resort
A landing zone for relaxation and recharging between the fun – featuring 750 guest rooms, terrestrial tones and sweeping curves to inspire thoughts of exploring new worlds. Universal Terra Luna Resort is inspired by the massive and diverse planetary elements of the universe. Opening February 25, 2025.
