By Lisa McClure Recently, my husband and I were able to take a short cruise on the Disney Dream. He is a Disney Cast Member and because of that, we were invited to have the opportunity to go on a short cruise to put the ship “through the ropes” before guests arrived, making sure everything […]
By Becky Mac My family and I went to the Disneyland Resort in the middle of November, 2010, and I have to say that we were blown away by the shear number of construction walls everywhere in Disney California Adventure. It reminded me of a song…”Here a wall, there a wall, everywhere a wall, wall…” […]
Via Napoli
By Sarah DeMare In November, I had the pleasure of dining at Via Napoli, the new pizzeria in the Italy pavilion at Epcot. This was a fantastic dinner, and if you are short on time, you can skip the details and just go ahead and make an ADR for your next trip, you won’t be […]
By Teresa Pitman Not long ago, I specialized in the wimpy rides. No drops, nothing scarier than the ghosts in Haunted Mansion. But as I wrote in a previous edition of Magically Speaking, I managed to work up from Barnstormer to Splash Mountain, and discovered that I loved it. Well, you know what has to […]

While there are still many things we have yet to do that Disney offers, we have done quite a lot. Our family has visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World more times than we can count and have stayed at most of the Disney resorts in the USA. We’ve done 3-, 4-, and 7-night cruises in the Caribbean.
We’ve cruised the Mediterranean and the Baltic Seas with Disney. We’re Disney Vacation Club members. Hmm…you’re probably wondering if we’ve even tried any other vacation options, and yes we have. They don’t compare. Our family is invested heart and soul into Disney vacationing….but WHY?
Let me give you some concrete examples.
