If you’re anything like me, food pictures are part of the fun when enjoying a delicious treat at Walt Disney World! With so many foods being presented so beautifully, it’s hard not to want to capture them on camera and share them with friends! If you’re big on social media and are looking for some of the prettiest foods on property, look no further. I’m bringing you my favorite Instagram-worthy foods at Walt Disney World!
MICKEY-SHAPED EVERYTHING
It’s 100% true: everything tastes better when it’s Mickey-shaped. Disney seems to agree with that! You’ll find all sorts of Mickey-shaped treats throughout Walt Disney World, from the classic Mickey bar and soft pretzel to the adorable millennial pink cake pop, ears just seem to make everything even more delicious.
FUN MILKSHAKES
Disney has been on a serious milkshake kick lately, and I’m loving that! From the loaded shakes at Planet Hollywood to the new birthday cake shake at The Plaza Restaurant, these shakes are over the top cute, and perfect for sharing on social media! My current Insta-favorite is definitely the candy corn milkshake from Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It’s bright orange and comes topped with cotton candy and a Mickey-shaped marshmallow (see above for adorable Mickey-shaped foods).
GOURMET TWISTS ON CLASSIC TREATS
There’s nothing better than a scoop of ice cream, a crisped rice treat, or a classic s’more… especially when you kick those treats up a notch! Head to Ample Hills Creamery at The Boardwalk for a scoop of ooey gooey butter cake ice cream or dark chocolate ice cream in a cookie cone! Or make your way to The Ganachery for a gourmet s’more, complete with house-made graham crackers, fresh marshmallow, chocolate ganache. They even assemble and brulee it right before your eyes! And, to reference my first category, adorably-themed Rice Krispy Treats (with Mickey ears!) on a stick are beyond adorable.
TRENDY COLORS
Whether its rose gold, millennial pink, or now, iridescent, these color trends are popping up all over Walt Disney World in the form of delicious treats. Millennial pink cake pops, rose gold cupcakes, and iridescent champagne are delicious and beautiful! My personal favorite? The rose gold cupcake from Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.
VIBRANT COLORS
One of my favorite treats all year is the violet lemonade from the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival! This delicious, refreshing slushy is something I look forward to every year, and it never disappoints! It also just so happens that it’s absolutely beautiful and vibrant in color, reminiscent of all the flowers you’ll see at the festival! I love photographing anything bright and vibrant, and this treat definitely fits the bill. Not visiting during Flower & Garden? Check out the Grand Marnier Orange Slush in the France pavilion at Epcot or a classic Dole Whip from Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom!
A CUTE BACKDROP
Really, everything can look good with the right backdrop! From the #purplewall to a shot with Cinderella Castle in the background, I love using unique backdrops to make my snack really pop! One of my favorite snacks is the caramel pecan bar from the Karamell Kuche in the Germany pavilion at Epcot!
I COULD KEEP GOING…
