- At the Magic Kingdom, Guests are invited to celebrate Mickey and Minnie with Mickey & Minnie’s Surprise Celebration. The event includes new entertainment, merchandise and specialty food and beverages. Guests are able to meet Mickey and Minnie together at Town Square Theater dressed in their celebration gear. In addition, they will be able to dance with favorite Disney pals during the “Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party” which takes place multiples times a day in front of Cinderella Castle.
- Disney has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2019 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties! The popular annual Halloween event is held will be held in August, September, October, and November and this year, there will 36 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights for Guests to enjoy. Party dates for this year are:
- August 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
- September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29
- October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
- November 1
- At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Guests will be able to take part in the Incredible Celebration in the former Pixar Place, which is now known as Municiberg. The festivities will feature Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone in “The Super Shindig” dance party. Here, Guests will also have the chance to meet Edna Mode.
- Monsters Inc fans will be able to meet Mike and Sulley at the Walt Disney Presents exhibit.
- The all-new Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on March 31. Located inside Sunset Showcase, Guests will come face-to-face with racing legend Lightning McQueen, who is excited to showcase what he’s learned over the years. Of course things don’t always go according to plan, and Lightning has to think fast to get back on course. With friends Tow Mater, Cruz Ramirez and the gang from Radiator Springs, Lightning gears up for the challenge. After the show, Guests will also have the chance to take a photo with Cruz Ramirez just outside the Academy.
- Star-Lord and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy are returning to Epcot this summer with The Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! The show takes Guests on a musical journey, showcasing hits from Star-Lord’s Awesome Mix tapes. The show will take place daily from June 14 through August 18 at the America Gardens Theatre in The American Adventure pavilion.
- Guests can catch the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party, featuring Timon and Rafiki from The Lion King along with other Disney family friends. A live Caribbean-style street band starts the party by adding a cool calypso twist to popular Disney hits.
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom will celebrate the 25th anniversary of “The Lion King” with a new addition to the Tree of Life Awakenings show, which is shown on the Tree of Life park icon. The special projections will start Memorial Day weekend and will appear nightly through September 30.
- Last year, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon introduced H2O Glow Nights. As part of this one-of-a-kind ticketed event, Guests will experience an immersive glow party complete with transformative lighting, Toy Story character greetings, limited-time food and beverage items, attractions, and a DJ dance party. Tickets cost $59.00 + tax for Ages 10+ and $54.00 + tax for Guests Ages 3-9. The event will take place from 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. on the following dates:

- July 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, 27
- August 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24
- The 2019 Pro Bowl returns to Orlando and Disney Springs is celebrating with the 2019 Pro Bowl Pep Rally on January 26. The fun kicks off at Marketplace Stage with NFL Team Mascots and cheerleaders, NFL and Disney trivia, a DJ Dance Party, and more, with shows at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Football fans should also be on the lookout for the NFL Shop, a pop-up location at Disney Springs featuring team merchandise. For even more Pro Bowl fun, Guests can check out the NFL Pro Bowl Experience at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from January 21-27. The complex will host team practices and NFL Skills Showdown featuring top skill players and hands-on activities for fans. Both the 2019 Pro Bowl Pep Rally at Disney Springs and the NFL Pro Bowl Experience are open to the public with no charge to Guests.
- Sebastian’s Bistro at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will now only offer dinner from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. beginning January 27. Guests can still get lunch at Spyglass Grill and Centertown Market beginning at 11:30 a.m., and the Banana Cabana pool bar beginning at noon.
- The Walt Disney World Resort hotels will be changing their credit card policy for Guests who wish to leave a credit card on file. Under the new policy, the hotel will place an incremental $100 authorization hold on the Guest’s card for estimated incidental expenses, in addition to any remaining balance that may be due on the reservation. Any authorization holds in excess of the balance due will be released at the end of the resort stay. Guests can opt out by not leaving a credit card on file, however, by not doing so, Guests will be unable to charge to their room or use their MagicBands for purchases.
