• There is a new acrobatic/dance troupe that is performing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the Asia section. This beautifully choreographed group can be found by the Yak and Yeti Local Foods counter service location and has showtimes Wednesday – Friday at 9:50 am, 10:30 am, 11:10 am, 12:50 pm, 1:30 pm, and 2:10 pm. Performances on Saturday are 1:10 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:10 pm, 4:55 pm, and 5:40 pm.

• This week’s Limited Time Magic invites guests back to enjoy the Dapper Dans singing great boy band hits once again. From August 19 – 25, guests can enjoy the harmonies of songs from The Backstreet Boys, ‘Nsync and One Direction.

• it’s a small world will be seeing a small refurbishment (get it…) from December 2 – 12, reopening on December 13.

• Raglan Road will be hosting the Great Irish Hooley during Labor Day weekend, August 30 – September 2. This event includes eclectic Irish bands that will play a variety of different tunes, as well as entertaining dance performances. Also, be prepared to belly up to some great food.
• The Rapid Fill refillable mug drink system is currently being rolled out at the resorts. This system includes mugs that have RFID (a radio frequency identification chip) technology that will allow the machines to know how many days you have purchased your refillable mug for. Mugs will be able to be purchased for 1, 2, or 3 days OR they can be purchased for your length of stay (up to 14 days). • Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will be seeing a few new additions this year! A brand new treat trail will be added (making two treat trails total). In addition, Phineas and Ferb will be heading up the Creepa Crew. This group will invite guests to call all the monsters, as they jam out together on Main Street USA, while guests wait for the Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade. In addition, for the first time during the party, Jack Skellington and Sally will be meeting guests.
