Best Attractions to FastPass at Walt Disney World
Fastpass+ is Disney’s virtual queuing system, which gives guests a one hour window to attend an experience with a much shorter wait time. Disney allows each guest to pre-select three FastPasses to use in one park each day of your trip, and they are available for many rides, shows, and character meet and greets.
According to my six-year-old princess, these are the FastPasses and experiences a young princesses-in-training just must have during her trip to Disney!
Magic Kingdom:
Fastpasses:
Meet Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall – At writing this is the hardest FastPass+ reservation to get. I booked FastPasses for a friend recently who was staying off site, and there were none available at midnight on the 30 day mark, or at any time I checked within that 30 day window. If you cannot FastPass this attraction and your princess just must see Anna and Elsa, head straight to the meet and greet when the park opens. Other options to view these two princesses are to go to the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (no meet and greet or photo ops) or to catch the afternoon parade in the Magic Kingdom (no meet and greet or photo ops).
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – Disney’s newest (and tamest) roller coaster, this is a great first roller coaster for kids. *Must be 38 inches or taller to ride. Rider swap is available.
Enchanted Tales with Belle – This interactive storytelling experience allows children (and adults!) to become a part of Belle’s story.
Dining:
For dining, reservations made ahead of time are called Advanced Dining Reservations. These can be made up to 180 days in advance. For meals that are must-dos for your family, Advanced Dining Reservations are a must.
Cinderella’s Royal Table, located inside Cinderella’s Castle, is the dining location of choice for all princesses.
Not to be Missed:
You can catch these rides and experiences without FastPass reservations, as the lines are usually shorter than those mentioned above.
Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
Meet Ariel at Her Grotto
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Meet Characters from Aladdin in Adventureland
It’s a Small World
Meet Merida at Fairytale Garden
Meet Cinderella and Rapunzel at Princess Fairytale Hall
Prince Charming Regal Carousel
Meet Tiana in Liberty Square
Hollywood Studios:
FastPasses:
Toy Story Midway Mania – This 4D ride is a hit for all ages, princesses and pirates alike. The line is always extremely long, so a fastpass is a great option.
Disney Junior – Live on Stage! This stage show features Princess Sofia, Doc McStuffins, Jake and his Neverland Pirates crew, and the gang from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Star Tours – The Adventure Continues – Feel the power of the force and hang out with Sci-Fi’s favorite princess, Princess Leia. *Must be 40 inches or taller to ride. Rider switch is available.
Dining:
Hollywood & Vine – At Disney Junior Play ‘N Dine (breakfast or lunch), you can meet Princess Sofia along with Doc McStuffins, Jake (Neverland Pirates) and Handy Manny.
Not to be Missed: You can catch these rides and experiences without FastPasses, as the lines are usually shorter than those mentioned above.
Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Epcot
FastPasses:
Soarin’ – Catch a glimpse of Sleeping Beauty’s castle in Disneyland! *Must be 40 inches or taller to ride. Rider switch is available.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends – Join Nemo and the whole crew as you travel via clamshell through the ocean blue.
Turtle Talk with Crush – Get ready to ask everything you ever wanted to know about the ocean. Turtle dude Crush will be happy to meet you and answer your questions!
Dining:
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall – In this medieval castle in Norway, you have the opportunity to meet various princesses and even take part in a princess parade. Don’t forget your princess dress!
Not to be Missed: *These meet and greets in the countries of Epcot do not offer fastpasses. Check the times guide when you enter the park to confirm meeting times.
Meet Belle in France
Meet Mulan in China
Meet Princess Aurora in France
Meet Snow White in Germany
Animal Kingdom
FastPasses:
Kilimanjaro Safaris – Tour the African savanna and be on the lookout for lions, elephants, and giraffes! 34 different species of African wildlife wander throughout this 18 minute expedition.
Expedition Everest – Not your typical princess attraction, my daughter braved this one on our most recent trip. Although she was scared, she was quite proud of herself for taking the adventure and she told me that princesses must be brave! *Must be 40 inches or taller to ride. Rider switch is available.
Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost – The one and only opportunity to meet both Mickey and Minnie at the same time!
Dining:
Tusker House Restaurant – Meet up with Donald, Daisy and pals for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is the only character dining available at the Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Not to be Missed: You can catch these rides and experiences without fastpasses, as the lines are usually shorter than those mentioned above.
Meet Pocahontas at Character Landing
Festival of the Lion King
Kali River Rapids *Must be 38 inches or taller to ride. Rider switch is available.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug!
Honorable Mention:
Dining: Dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) is a treat for princesses! At dinner you can dine with Cinderella and the wicked step-mother and step-sisters. Lucky young princesses might even get to dance with Prince Charming!
All three original FastPass selections on a given day must be booked for the same park. FastPasses are connected to your park tickets, and may be booked online 60 days before your trip (if you are staying at a Disney resort) or 30 days before your trip (if you have your tickets but are staying off property). Once you have used all 3 of your FastPasses, you may obtain an additional FastPass at the kiosk within the park. FastPasses can be booked on the My Disney Experience app or website.

What a great article! So many people advise us on what kind of FP+ to get for thrill seekers. This is the first advice on what to get for young children, specifically princess fans. Thanks!
