It’s officially the holiday season, now that Thanksgiving has come and gone. And with that brings two very awesome festivals for both Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort.
At Epcot, Guests can participate in the new Epcot International Festival of Holidays. During this event, Guests are invited to discover a festival featuring the joyous holiday traditions of the 11 World Showcase nations. The Epcot Festival of Holidays provides wondrous sights, sounds and flavors of the season and highlight how the holiday season is celebrated by different cultures.
During the Festival, there will be 12 Holiday Kitchen booths that will offer up special treats for Guests to enjoy. Each booth will feature holiday delights from each of the different country that they represent. During the Epcot Festival of the Holidays, the themed kitchens will evoke the spirit of the season through flavorful food and beverages.
Holiday booths will include American Holiday Table, Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, The Cookie Nook, Feast of the Three Kings, and more. Dishes will include things like Cinnamon Mochi Cake from Japan, Tostada de Tinga from Mexico, Panettone from Italy, and Maple Bûche de Noël from Canada.
If you aren’t going to be on the East Coast, you may want to head over to the Disneyland Resort! Here they are also celebrating different treats and beverages with the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure. At this park, you’ll find 11 Festive Foods Marketplace Kiosks. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy favorites in a culinary celebration of different cuisines and traditions. From belly-loving bites to spirited libations and decadent desserts—there’s a world of possibilities to please your palate at these different marketplaces.
Festive Food Marketplace Booths include Chips, Breads, and Holiday Spreads, Making Spirits Bright, Winter Sliderland, and Grandma’s Recipes. Dishes will include things like Beef Short Rib with Smashed Potatoes and Gravy, Spiced Peanut Brittle, Macaroni and Cheese with Cornbread Crumbles, Green Bean and Mushroom Casserole with Crispy Onions, and Chocolate Yule Log with Candied Chestnuts and Clementine Compote.
