- UP! A Great Bird Adventure will debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on April 22. This new show will offer guests the chance to see Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell and his furry friend Dug UP as they discover species of birds from around the world in this Anandapur village adventure.
- This summer, Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom will now offer a prix fixe dinner menu enjoying a three-course dining experience, which includes choice of appetizer and entrée, followed by a personal dessert platter. The upgraded menu boasts a variety of appetizers that includes French Onion Soup; Charred Octopus with citrus-laced fingerling potatoes, pickled hearts of palm and red pepper coulis; Escargot with herb garlic butter and toasted gremolata; and a selection of assorted meats and artisanal cheeses such as chicken liver pâté, chorizo sausage Manchego, and truffle tremor. For the main course, enjoy Grilled Center-Cut Filet Mignon with potato au gratin, Romano beans, Cipollini marmalade and a cherry-laced red wine reduction; Smoked Black-Eye Pea Tortellini with roasted seasonal vegetables, tomato relish, and basil-scented tomato water; Poulet Rouge Chicken; Saffron-Infused Seafood Bouillabaisse; Roasted Lamb Chops; and Kurobuta Pork Tenderloins. This new dinner feast will be available beginning July 27. Pricing is $55 for adults and $35 for children, or two Disney Dining Plan entitlements.
- For the very first time, Walt Disney World Golf is offering the game of FootGolf at Disney’s Oak Trail golf course. The 18-Hole FootGolf course is Certified by the American FootGolf League (AFGL). Tee times can be booked to play 18 holes of FootGolf either in front of or behind those playing 9 holes of traditional golf. When played in groups of four, 18 holes of FootGolf should take approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, much like that of 9 holes of traditional golf.
