- After nearly 20 years, Epcot’s nighttime spectacular, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will be ending at the end of summer 2019. The show debuted in October 1999 as part of the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration. A new show is being developed by the Disney Parks Live Entertainment team and there is no official date for the new show.
- A new Up Close with Rhinos tour will be added to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It will be a backstage tour where your guides introduce you to the park’s white rhinos by offer fascinating insights into the species’ behavior and biology and discuss the challenges that threaten populations in the wild. This tour is a look at how the parks’ dedicated animal team cares for the white rhinos on Kilimanjaro Safaris and as part of this experience, guests may even get a chance to touch a rhino. The tour lasts 60 minutes and is offered daily at 11:00 a.m. The cost is $40 per person and Guests must be at least 4 years of age or older to participate.
