When you walk into Islands of Adventure, you inevitable walk in hungry, right? You can always go for the Starbucks or the Cinnabon, or you could try the Croissant Moon Bakery, located right on the right hand side as you walk into the park.
The Croissant Moon Bakery is kind of unassuming. It’s super easy to walk past and not even realize it’s there. Minus a little sign, it kind of blends in with everything else. There are some tables outside on both sides of the shop.
The bakery sells sweet treats, as well as some sandwich options. In addition, there’s also coffee options, for those who are looking for it. You’ll see all the sweet treats laid out in a bakery case and let me tell you, there are a ton of delicious options available.
We made a stop for breakfast, so I got a pumpkin cheesecake muffin. It was quite delicious and very moist. There was a nice portion of cheesecake mixed in with the pumpkin muffin.
My brother tried the restaurant’s namesake, the croissant. Yes, it was a standard croissant; buttery and flaky. It was a great breakfast option.
Finally, my husband decided he wanted to go for that “I’m on vacation” mode because he decided that for breakfast, he’d do the key lime pie. He is a big fan of key lime pie and thought this was delicious.
Like I said, there are tons of great choices, so no matter whether you want to come here for breakfast or a nice snack in the middle of the afternoon, there is something for you. It was my first time stopping here, but it certainly won’t be my last.
