Welcome to Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream!
When we celebrate my daughter’s birthday at the Disneyland Resort, we always let her pick out a special birthday treat. Last month, we took her to the Oogie Boogie Bash at California Adventure to celebrate.
She decided she wanted a cupcake, so we went to Buena Vista Street to find Trolley Treats, where she picked out a Mickey Mouse Pumpkin Spice Cupcake. She said it was a delicious pumpkin spice flavored cupcake.

Neither my husband nor I was in the mood for something from the bakery. It was hot out there, so we wanted ice cream! Luckily for us, two other eateries were in the same building as Trolley Treats. One was the park’s Starbucks location, called Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café. This Café serves up all the typical things you would find in your neighborhood Starbucks, but always offers a seasonal Disney-themed treat. This time, it was the Arendelle Aqua Macaron, which is Mickey-shaped and sprinkled with edible glitter.

In between the Café and Trolley Treats is Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream. My husband ordered a double scoop of Mocha Almond Fudge ice cream in a waffle cup for $5.99. I ordered a single scoop of no-sugar-added Butter Pecan in a waffle cup for $5.29.

Although we both ordered waffle cups, my husband’s cup was significantly darker than mine. We couldn’t taste any discernible difference, but we’re guessing his was just in the oven longer.
Seating area at Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe
The three of us took our treats to the seating area, which is in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café. This area can be quite congested in the mornings, but just an hour after the Oogie Boogie Bash started, we practically had the whole place to ourselves.
The Butter Pecan flavor was wonderful: just sweet enough, smooth, and the perfect consistency. I tried a taste of my husband’s Mocha Almond Fudge, and it was rich, chocolatey, and had decadent ribbons of fudge swirled through it.
Trolley Treats
Note that Clarabelle’s offers Mobile Ordering but does not offer discounts for Annual Passholders nor Disney Vacation Club members.. Trolley Treats did not offer Mobile Ordering, but did offer both Disney Vacation Club and Annual Passolder discounts. The same goes for the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café.
Since all three locations share the same interior space, it’s a great place to go if different members of your party are in the mood for ice cream, bakery items, or a hot cup of coffee. Just remember that you will be ordering and paying in three different queues.
