If you are looking for a great, “homecooked” meal, a stop at Trail’s End Restaurant might be the right choice for you. Located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and just a quick boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, Trail’s End is a great option for those looking to get away from the park and take a break, while still being close to the magic.
Trail’s End is right next door to the fan favorite Hoop Dee Doo Revue and one of the best parts about that some of the menu items make their way over to this restaurant, like the fried chicken and the ribs! The theme at this buffet is definitely rustic, but it all adds to the charm. Currently Trail’s End offers breakfast and dinner, however on the weekends, they do have a special brunch offering.
We stopped here midway through our day of touring the Magic Kingdom, so it was time for supper!
Menu items include fried chicken, ribs, corn, baked potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, cowboy beans, pasta, chilled shrimp, salad, fruit, cole slaw, cornbread, and more.
Guests can easily fill up their plates with the delicious choices. If you love home cooking, you will absolutely not be disappointed with anything on the menu at Trail’s End!
There is also an entire section of desserts! They have cookies, smores, tarts, cobbler, and even soft served ice cream.
Trail’s End is a great option if you are looking for something hearty and to get stuffed to the gills before heading back to the park.
