With Halloween on the horizon, many of the Walt Disney World Resort restaurants are offering up delicious Halloween themed desserts, including the quick service location, Captain Cook’s found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Of course, as with all the counter service locations at the the theme parks, the resort restaurants also require that Guests put in their orders, even for snacks, on the My Disney Experience app.
So, on my recent trip, before I returned home, I decided I wanted to grab a snack to take home with me and enjoy, just to extend the magic a bit! I decided to choose the Halloween specific, Halloween Minnie Cupcake!
It sounded amazing in the app – it was a chocolate cupcake, with rocky road filling and buttercream frosting.
The cupcake was quite large! It was also extremely colorful, thanks to the buttercream frosting on top! Plus there was the added “Minnie” touch with the purple white chocolate Minnie ears on top. And let’s not forget the Halloween-theme sprinkles and edible glitter!
The Halloween Minnie Cupcake itself was quite good, with a delicious chocolate cream, chocolate chip, and marshmallow filling inside. (And yes, there were chunks of marshmallow too!)
Overall, the Halloween Minnie Cupcake was a great treat that hit the snack spot! If you’ll be in Walt Disney World here over the next week, I would definitely say you should consider picking up this treat, if you’re near Captain Cook’s. Otherwise, there are a lot of other great Halloween snack options that can be picked up too. You can find those listed out here.
