During my most recent trip to Walt Disney World, I knew I wanted to try the very limited snack – the pumpkin ice cream sandwich cookie! This can currently be found at Dino-Bite Snacks in Dinoland USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Dino-Bite is a quick service stand that sits right next to Restaurantosarus. Dino-Bite is known for their ice cream delights, including cookie sandwiches (like the one I tried) and hot fudge sundaes, as well as hand scooped ice cream and floats.
The pumpkin ice cream sandwich is vanilla ice cream that can be found in between two pumpkin cookies and it is decorated with fall sprinkles!
As you can see, it is a very large treat! Honestly, if I was with someone at the time, I totally would have split this monstrous dessert!
The ice cream was a mound of creamy delightfulness and mixed well with the fall flavors of the pumpkin cookies. The sprinkles added some nice color and whimsy. And the pumpkin cookies weren’t overly pumpkin flavored. The only thing that I thought was a bit overkill was the fact that there were also large sugar granules that coated the cookies. With everything else going on, the granules were definitely not necessary.
This treat was perfect to enjoy on the relatively warm day that I was visiting. But, keep in mind it is only available until November 30, so if you want to try it, you’ll need to hurry!
