Right now, due to COVID restrictions, Columbia Harbor House at the Magic Kingdom is closed. (It’s actually being used as the extended queue for Peter Pan’s Flight.) So, many people have been asking, where can I get some of my favorites from this quick service location? Well, Disney has answered that question by offering dishes from this restaurant at Tomorrowland Terrace.
For those who haven’t been to Tomorrowland Terrace, the restaurant is located just off Main Street USA, near The Plaza Restaurant. It is usually closed (only open seasonally) and many use this section of the park as a walk-through to get to Tomorrowland. Tomorrowland Terrace is an outdoor dining space with plenty of seating. The restaurant is offering up dining options from Columbia Harbor House from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. daily. Options include things like the lobster roll, Harbor salad, and yes, the fish and chicken is here too!
Right now, Guests must mobile order to dine here. So, you’ll need to log into the My Disney Experience app and place your order. If you need any assistance, there are Cast Members who will assist you out front.
On my visit, I decided to get the combo platter, which included both the fish and the shrimp, as well as a side of fries, and hushpuppies.
As far as the amount of protein, I felt that they could have included a little more, for the price. There were only three pieces of shrimp and two small pieces of fish. I thought the shrimp was really tasty, but the fish was just ok. It was actually a little overcooked on the outside. I honestly wished I’d just gotten the shrimp by themselves.
The one thing they don’t skimp on is the fries. There were a TON of fries on my plate!
The secret weapon of the meal though? That was the hush puppies! Those were fantastic!
Now, I also decided to grab dessert because I saw that they had the Minnie Mouse Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie. And yes….it is as decadent as it sounds! It’s legit a chocolate chip cookie that’s got warm chocolate oozing inside. It was incredible and I would mobile order one of these by themselves. That’s how good it was.
Overall, if you you’re really craving Columbia Harbor House, this will at least help to satisfy the craving. But just remember, you’ll only be able to grab it for lunch!
