March 2021 brings several brand new Disney shows and a few that are newly streaming on Disney+.
March 5
The highlight of the week is the Finale of WandaVision (read a review here). The seventh episode Marvel mini-series will no doubt wrap up with at least one more big twist. Hopefully the end of the most unique Marvel story to date will also include some answers.
Disney also premiers a new animated movie on Premiere access. Raya and the Last Dragon debuts in theaters on the same day that it launches for an extra $30 on Disney+. You can also wait a few months, and Raya and the Last Dragon will most likely show up on Disney+ at no charge.
Streaming for the first time is Disney Secrets of Sulphur Springs: Time Warped, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties and Heartland Docs, DVM, Season 2.
March 12
Coming this week is Own the Room and Marvel Studios Assembled. This is not a new mini-series or movie that plays into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Instead, this is a behind the scenes look at the making of the various new Marvel mini-series. Each episode will premiere after the conclusion of each mini-series or movie premiere.
Streaming for the first time is Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Dr. K’s Exotic Animal ER Seasons 1-8, Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet Season 7, and Disney Secrets of Sulphur Springs: Long Time Gone.
March 19
A week without any new streaming Marvel shows comes to an end with the launch of The Falcon and the Winter Solider. The mini-series picks up after Avengers: Endgame.
Streaming for the first time is Big Hero 6 The Series, Season 3, Disney Secrets of Sulphur Springs: If I could Turn Back Time, and Mexico Untamed Season 1.
March 26
If you grew up in the age of The Mighty Ducks trilogy, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers should bring back all the same feelings. Gordon Bombay returns to lead a new group of young hockey players.
Streaming for the first time Disney Secrets of Sulphur Springs: As Time Goes By, Disney Pickle and Peanut, Seasons 1 and 2, Gnomeo & Juliet, and Inside Pixar: Foundations: Batch 3.
In case you missed it…
Pixar Popcorn is a ten episode of Pixar shorts. Many of them don’t include dialogue and all of them a super short, ranging in length from one to four minutes. You can also use the “Play All” option that will show all the episodes back-to-back in twenty-one minutes. The various shorts feature your favorite characters from Toy Story, Cars, Finding Dory, Soul, The Incredibles, and Coco.
There’s still quite a bit missing on Disney+ I hope they add soon
