Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago is located at the Coronado Springs Resort. This outdoor, open-air restaurant is tucked away behind the Gran Destino Tower. It’s positioned over the water, which gives guests a beautiful view, especially at night.
Currently, you can’t make a dining reservation for Three Bridges. Instead, guests can utilize their walk-up list if there is a wait for a table. The downside to this is that you must be within range of the restaurant to put your name on the walk-up list. It’s also important to note that, at least for now, Three Bridges is only open for dinner. Not sure if this will change in the future.
I’ve been to Three Bridges a few times and the wait has varied. The walk-up list seems to hit capacity at 2 hours, but if you’ve got a little time to spare, I wouldn’t let the quoted wait time deter you. On two different occasions, the app showed a 2 hour wait, but in the end, it was closer to 45 minutes. There are no guarantees on this, but I think people often see the long wait time and check out some of the other restaurants the hotel has to offer.
On my first visit to Three Bridges, I tried the burger and the chicken biscuit sliders. We ordered both entrees with smoked paprika fries. The burger comes with several toppings, but the Manchego cheese and a garlic-lemon aioli really stand out and make this burger unique and delicious. The paprika fries complimented the burger very well and were a nice change from regular fries.
There are a lot of flavors going on with the crispy chicken biscuits! If you like blue cheese, you will most likely enjoy this. If you aren’t a huge fan, you definitely want to try another entrée or order this without the blue cheese because the flavor was very strong. These are also very messy, little sandwiches because the biscuits have a tendency to fall apart. The hot honey and blue cheese can also make quite a mess. I thought these were good, but definitely ask for some extra napkins!
Sangria is another specialty at Three Bridges. If it’s your first visit, you may want to try the Sangria flight so that you can try all 4 sangria options. We opted to split this and it was easy to share with 2 people. I liked each of the flavors, but we each picked our favorite and knew what to order for next time.
We enjoyed our meal at Three Bridges so much that we decided to go back…the very next night! This time around we ordered the warm Manchego and Oaxaca Cheese Dip. I loved this! It was served with tortilla chips and I was thankful that our server brought us extra chips because we ate every last bite of the dip.
I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance at Three Bridges. After a busy day of running around at the parks, it’s a great place to sit and relax. Considering that I enjoyed it enough to dine there two nights in a row, I think it’s safe to say that I will be back in the future!
